  • Nice elevator

  • yea this is interesting, ive never seen that many montgomery buttons in 1 elevator!

  • In Japan back in 1979, the service/freight elevators had music - DISCO MUSIC playing. I still remember Gloria Gaynor's "Anybody Wanna Party" playing in one of the service elevators I rode. Someone filmed a service elevator in the St Francis Hotel in San Francisco and it had a TV.

  • My dad has a Hydraulic car lift in our garage that is all made by Dover.

  • Where will I be able to find this documentary when it's done?

  • WOW!!! that is a nice elevator, I love the 500a Chimes

  • Ramjet trash compactors are made by Dover too.

  • there were only 1 in a bank right?

  • The likely reason that PH wasn't staying lit was because the elevator is computer-controlled, and since it was going down, it wouldn't let you press a floor that was above it until the direction changed.

  • Awesome service elevator!

  • Nice elevator. I've ridden on a couple of wierd elevators like that. It has the same internal beap between floors. The wierd thing is the outside and inside ding. It makes a 300A ding on the outside and a 330A on the inside after the doors open.

  • you hit it right on the nose those are innovation universial fixtures my favorite innovation fixtures

  • Again, very unusual to find music on an service elevator.

  • wow that is the only elevator that is passenger service! or i am probable wrong?

  • Where there's Muzac, Ted Nugent will come at it with a crossbow, and kill it.

  • @georgef551 Please don't "Walmart" the elevator.

  • @NEXPAR

I was refering to the fact that Ted Nugent bought MUZAC for the sole purpose of ending it's existance.

  • @georgef551 Oh he did? That's news to me. Sirrus is better.

  • @NEXPAR

Yeah. Apperently, he couldn't stand it. It was a big staple in the depertment stores. The most "recent" song I knew converted to MUZAC was Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Imagine that one in MUZAC form. It sounded very weird.

  • @georgef551 All the music I heard on Muzak has been "normal" opposed to rendered into "elevator" music instrumentals. The coffee shop I worked had it and you could change the station to other music forms. The downtown coffee shop, however had Muzak CDs and in limited number so we got stuck with a lot of repeats. I do remember Seduction's "It Takes Two" being rendered into elevator music.

  • @NEXPAR

99.9% was normal here, too. It was funny, however, when they converted metal hits. :)

  • wow !

    interesting buttons
