how to make absinthe made with wormwood schnapps

That's not how it's done and even if it was knowone ever tripped on the stuff. That's an old wives tail. Anyway it was the thujone compound that could make you trip but they never found any that had high enough amount's to make it toxic. You have to figure if someone drinks a shit load of 150 proof moonshine their going to be trippin balls.

@zippo9211989 That's always good enough in my book but a surprise now and then would be nice. I'm looking into making the real stuff or more like close to the real stuff. Making absinthe is an art.

@hpjunky70 yea, i dont take much pride in my liqueur, if you couldn't tell by the 9$ bottle of vodka when the thujone extract cost 14$. I'de really like to see a video of the process of you making it, just remember, once you drink it you cant get it back. I keep mine in a round window flask so you can see the green of the absinthe (if you can consider what I made absinthe) and I put them on display in my room.

I've had this essence and it hasn't got much to do with absinthe, follows the taste of minty-mouthwashy Czech imitations. It's also full of wormwood oil and is bitter enough on its own (compared to real absinthe), so the schnapps makes no sense if you're concerned with "absintheness"). Oh, and this stuff actually takes a 100 proof spirit to dissolve properly (even if it seems right – tried it).

@kontroledkos all the ingredients came from Sweden. the person who receives them has them shipped from there to the US and allows you to buy from her off ebay. Her screenname on ebay is melissa4gram, and in her description of her product she states her products have thujone in them and that many are trying to copy her on ebay with thujone free bottles like hers.
