There is so much worth visiting in Washington State. The Olympic National Park, the coast, the Cascades, Seattle!
I will check out your guided tour.
Oh, have you been to Menton? Tucked in on the Mediterranean, a little town with a wonderful, free municipal Art Gallery, a prehistory museum, you can walk to Monaco along the coast (white freesias blooming wild in the spring), train to Nice and the Chagall museum for the day, stay at a hostel perched up a long flight of stairs, walk in the hills
Do you know about the Maryhill Museum in Washington State high on the banks of the Columbia River? It is full of works of Rodin, smaller ones, but amazing that they are there in the huge open country.
@lynnie2055 HI! I didn't know about that museum .. Washington State is some part of the world I've not reached yet ... although it is on my plans . I will surely think about that museum when I eventually get there. Thanks! all the best from France. Hope you enjoyed my "guided tour" of our museum in Paris by the way!
This is awesome! I really like the video and your music is very impressive. Rodin's sculptures are marverlous, I think Le Baiser is the best. Wish one day I could go to Paris and see them~
@Liebetraurig, I am glad you came across that "video" and delighted you noticed the music. You can hear more in my videos which contains "Interpreti Veneziani" in the title. I 'm sure you'll be impressed too. No doubt you 'll manage to come to Paris one day, enjoy that great town and all the cultural and human treasures it has to offer.
Beautiful! This is my favorite museum of all time. Thank you.
I was in my 20's when I was there, and at the time too inexperienced to fully appreciate the beauty and eroticism of his marble nudes. La Danaïde's back mesmerized me! I want to share the pleasure of Rodin's work with my husband so much. Perhaps in a few years.
you know there are a lot of sculptures in the garden too. It was too cold on that visit to stay outside, and my favourite ones are inside anyway! .. you're welcome anytime to come for a good hike, ... I am not sure about the dog though!Well, if you end up in the area send a message, i'll take care of it!
Beautiful work. I particularly like sculpture in the open air. My favourite sculpture garden is at the Kröller-Müller Museum in Holland, which includes a piece by Rodin. The gallery itself houses a fantastic collection of paintings by Van Gogh, worth a visit in its own right.
Thanks dashpoet! A sculpture in the open air is more like a meeting to me; inside a building is like finding a piece of jewellery or something made precious for any reason. ... though both can be very intimate depending on the moment , the mood , the availability of your mind..
I wish I hadn't been so young when I visited this museum ... well, i was 16 so not really young but definitely not mature enough to appreciate this ... thank you for putting this video up, i love it
Well, you have plenty of time to come back to Paris, visit this place and enjoy Rodin's sculptures. You may also come across an exhibition of some of the pieces in the States too. Thanks for your comment anyway.

la musique est un peu "douloureuse"... comme certaines sculptures de Rodin, mais le musée est bien représenté.

Gorgeous. A well put-together piece of film. You should get a job promoting the museum!

Thanks! I wouldn't mind that type of job! Meanwhile, I use youtube...!
