I think that Libya was an illegal war. I know that the looney left wing nuts always claimed that Iraq was an illegal war, but Bush went to congress and got approval before attacking. Obama did not. That said, we have no troops there and my comment remains true, No country that USA occupies is doing so against the will of its leaders.

@yakyakyak69 Thats the point that I ade about Obama. I stated clearly that Libya is an illegal war. Obama did not get approval from congress to engage in war with Libya. however Iraq had congressional approval. This power was given to the president under the "war powers act".

A War Powers Resolution is NOT a Declaration of War!

Then again, Congress did not declare war on Vietnam, Grenada, Lebanon, Somalia, Haiti, Panama, Serbia, or Bosnia either. But U.S. military personnel killed people in those countries and/or were killed in those countries during military actions—acts of war.

Congress has not declared War since WWII giving us IN FACT a Military Dictatorship!

As bad as 9/11 was, we can't forget about threats from state actors like Iran, North Korea, or China. Now that Obama and the tea party want to cut R&D programs like the F-22, future aircraft carriers and, I predict, the F-35, we will be at a dangerous disadvantage to China in the event of a (very plausible) confrontation over Taiwan or North Korea.

And of course we have Larry Silverstein on LIVE TV saying that Bldg 7(yes, there were 3 that fell) was going to be PULLED....AKA demolished.

You can't be serious. First, Silverstein never had the authority to demolish any of his buildings. "Pull it" meant to pull out the firefighters. WTC 7 was already evacuated. There was no point in putting the lives of FDNY in jeopardy. Second, nobody said that the buildings fell on their own. A fucking fully-fueled jet crashed into the buildings, blowing off all the fireproofing and weakening the steel core of the buildings.
