my guiter teacher assinged me the part to play the Bass beacuse we dont have a drumer and my freinds have to play the other parts they are also in the class
Actually, from 1958-1963, the Ventures played Fender guitars; the Jazzmaster, the Stratocaster, and the Precision Bass. But I agree that the Mosrites do complete their sound.
Nice version. Sounds great. To me, what makes it so good is not having the segments of the organ cutting in occasionally in the Ventures version. The organ music was just a bit overbearing at times and hasn't survived the test of time. It dates it. Otherwise it would be a timeless piece.
thes guys freeking cool!

Hi There
Im playing a little guitar myself and I must congratulate you on good playing.
However I have a question: How do you actually play the rythm guitar to get that "train-coming-sound"??
Sounds exactly like Don Wilson himself...even almost look like him..
Best Regards Micael from Sweden

Ah yes- enough reverb to wash a good-sized Pontiac! But... as good as Fender is, Ventures music must be played on Mosrites!

Zima was a type of alcohol drink. Imagine a carbonated lightly flavored kool-aid sort of drink. It was popular in the mid 1980's.
