  • Great song but what does The Black Dahlia have to do with it?

  • billy the kid sounds fucking awesome

  • Im 12 years old and obsessed with scremo death core rock and punk, yet i LOVE this song....and I'm sorry for wat my generation has done to music -.-

  • From a town called Philadelphia pennsylvania rode a boy with a six pack in his hands. Thanks for the video great song.

  • me 2

    Well like 5 min away

  • billy joel is still alive right

  • @BlizardSniper Yes, the last time I saw him was two weeks ago when he was tailgating me.... Great artist, terrible driver.

  • @BlizardSniper By the way I'm from Oyster Bay Long Island, yes, the same one from the song...

  • @matlarosa And I

  • My mate was singing this in the shower(I was spying because she never sings aloud), it was funny as HELL!!! She almost killed me when she left the shower and saw me on the floor rolling with my hand covering my mouth. She can sing pretty well, but her imitating the instrumentals is what made me want to die. I ran like Hell that day from a half naked woman. XD

  • My names Billy and I'm a Kid

  • I like the story of Billy the Kid, but this song makes me feel bad for him....

I mean think about it he never had a home never had a "sweetheart" I know some stories says he had a sweetheart and I think he had but still, his life sounds cool but I still think he had been lonely and sad. Even tho the story makes him sound like an always happy guy with humor, but i still feel bad :/

even though I love the song xD

  • @MangaFreakDK He was never really lonely if you think about it, all the stories and even the movies "young guns " he always had his " Pals" but i know he had down points in his life,

  • @TheBulletBros yeah I know ^^ it´s just the song who makes me feel sad even tho I know he got friends and sweethearts xD

  • im a consumer whore!

  • @CanadaEh1969

    And how?!

  • Its a norm that if you live or grow up on long island you have to love billy joel

  • he was shot not hung

  • @joethehunter It's a song not the History Channel.

  • @MST3KLives the History Channel woulda said he was abducted by aliens or some bullshit like that.

  • @joethehunter he was from NYC, not Wheeling, WVa.

  • @bradmonium1 and he was not hung but shot-by the sherrif who was chasing him

  • I LIVE ON LONG ISLAND WOOOO I FEEL SPECIAL

  • anyone notice the lil guy in the corner from "regected cartoons"?

  • @ares784512 that picture is in all of my videos, kinda like a digital on screen graphic. plus, rejected is one of the funniest videos of all time.

  • found it randomly buy typing in " family guy- peter the kid", looked for the artits and name, and here i found it

  • This is a great song.

  • thumbs up if u knew this before family guy

  • :D I love this song so much. I felt so sad when I heard the ending. Billy the kid finally found a home, in the grave baring his name. D: So sad. This is now officially my favorite song.

  • @AShadowofU it says on his grave i wish for a world without guns he said that because he wanted to be the only one with guns to rob everything the simpsons made a joke about it

  • When Peter The Kid came to town! Thumb up if Family Guy brought you here

  • Even Hes an Outlaw,I Like Bily The Kid

  • Billy joel thats all there is needed to say.

  • Love this song. One of the greatest

  • I love Billy the Kid and everything about him. And I love Billy Joel! That makes this song awesome.

  • @CodBit31 lol billy the kid could play guitar pretty good

  • Billy the Kid sounds cool, but Billy Joel is the real legend here.

  • I'm a musician and i LOVE the piano in this.

  • 2:53 AH YEAH

  • Piano Man was always my favorite album by Billy. This song always struck a chord in a young buckaroos heart!!

  • read about his affection for John Tunstall....I can understand his rage and wanting to kill

  • Personally, my favorite version of this was on his 2000 concert CD performed live. Somehow, it's just way better live.

  • From a town known as Wheeling, West Virginia Rode a boy with a six-gun in his hand And his daring life of crime Made him a legend in his time East and west of the Rio Grande Well, he started with a bank in Colorado In the pocket of his vest, a Colt he hid And his age and his size Took the teller by surprise And the word spread of Billy the Kid Well, he never traveled heavy Yes, he always rode alone And he soon put many older guns to shame And he never had a sweetheart And he never had a home

  • sounds like john denver( yes i know its billy joel, i ment it as something he would sing)

  • "From a town known as Oyster Bay, Long Island

Rode a boy with a six-pack in his hand

And his daring life of crime

Made him a legend in his time

East and west of the Rio Grande"

I'm from Oyster Bay, Long Island!

  • crazy how the time passes...

  • Thumbs up if Peter Griffin sent you here! :D

  • @Nintendo46 It alludes to Billy Joel's own life that's why hence the long island part at the end

  • this is going to be in my alistar montage!

  • this song is unreal

  • Peter Griffin here what do ya got!?

  • The ranger and the sherif disliked this.

  • sweet jesus bottom right

  • EVERYONE go to itunes and look up SUGAR PIE by jay jay ft. prince brown...a good friends older brother just gotta record deal and were trying 2 support him, please do thanks!

  • I'm 13, but my dad would always play this song in the car when I was around 7 and I always imagined running away with billy and getting married while living a life of crime. Then when I got older I found out what "hanging" meant. I was sad, but I still fantasized of "billy the kid".

I just love this song and Billy Joel.

  • OKLAHOMA FTW!!!

  • Thumbs up if ur putting this on i tunes

  • 2:22 - 3:15 is the clip they used for the Family Guy episode.

  • I love family guy even more for showing me this.

  • How the #¤%& do you go from doing a masterpiece like this, to singing "Uptown girl"...

  • @Madureirarsrsrsrsrsr yeah, we shot in a dark room by Pat Garret, though a great song this whole thing is very historically inaccurate

  • thansks family guy for showing me this song :)

  • Never heard this song before. Only just heard it a few minutes ago on Family Guy and what a great song!!! Family Guy - bringing you the classics you've never heard before. Love it when you discover a great old song!!!

  • THIS SONG JUST APPEARED ON FAMILY GUY!

  • I think that the facts were made incorrect in the song for a reason. When things travel by word of mouth (like they did in the old west) wild tales can be created when what really happened wasent really that exciting.

  • Very underated song.

  • it's a shame that people had to find this out from family guy,. i loved this song since i was a little kid

  • good song...i hate the fact that i found out about this song thru peter griffin tho lol

  • THIS SONG WAS IN FAMILY GUY

  • A real masterpiece by 'The Piano Man'.

  • Great song by The Piano Man. May Billy Joel live a long, healthy, and happy life!

  • @glenn3rd2004 LOL

  • This song is a real masterpiece rarely played on the airwaves anymore. Long live Billy Joel!

  • @gor319582006 I actually found the song through the local classic rock station about 10 years ago, when I was getting into rock from jazz/blues. Not only is it my favorite Billy Joel song, but it was one of the songs that really got me heavily into music, when I was 10 no less. Random reminiscence brought by your mention of its rarity on the airwaves recently. Long live Billy and long live the classics.

  • @gor319582006 I love it. Better than the stuff they always play.

  • A real masterpiece that hardly ever gets any airplay anymore, even on classic rock stations. Long live Billy Joel!

  • This song is about every highschool kid from Greenport to Long Beach (LI).

  • Thx a lot, funny episode, better song, lol, Rock on Billy!

  • billcheese1, do you by chance know which episode of family guy this was in, I love this song and the show but I've never seen the episode

  • Yeah, it's from "Dial Meg for Murder" when Meg has a boyfriend in jail and he breaks out. The song is played when Peter joins a bull riding competition. Hope this helps!

  • @billcheese1 Yeah... You just gotta love peter's face on that one =]

  • @billcheese1 season 8 episode 11
