  • sophie, i really appreciate your great green info, but you must live in an area that has a large organic farming community. (california?) because there is NO way i would save by buying organic here in southern ontario, canada. trust me...i used to try to buy organic, and now i try to focus on local food first. if i can get organic local, all the better, but anything imported is way more, and the carbon used to ship it discounts what i'm benefiting in organic food.

    thanks!

  • @jukejointjezebelz I'm experiencing the same here in Norway. Sometimes the organic stuff is triple the cost of conventional

  • You can also join an organic co op that's in your area; they're wonderful money savers, you get organic produce that's locally grown, and you meet fantastic people.
