  • One of the most underrated LSD songs of all time and it doesn't what matter version it is...

  • "Good a Nothern Song" good music

  • this song is brilliant. <3. r.i.p George Harrison. :[

  • Ugh! Little wonder the Beatles refused to record so many of his compositions. Not only is the melody clunky and awkward, his words constitute horrific poetry. Poor George! It must be that he stood so close to the gods (Lennon and McCartney), that he one day began to confuse himself for one too!

  • @FrightwoIf maybe you just don't know the history of northern or his 0.7% share, i don't know. but lyrics are pure genius

  • @ariesneko I have never liked George the musician or George the man. I found his music and lyrics largely CLUNKY. Mind you, I'm aware he wrote 3 or 4 really great songs. The rest were throw-aways or worse, PLAGIARIZED works. That he and his fans pretended that he was an equal to John and Paul is a source of great comedy. It would be like saying my Toyota Corolla was the same as a brand new BMW.

  • @FrightwoIf Oh no here we go again. I think I'll stop browsing through Beatles' videos on YouTube just to avoid your stupid nonsene comments. You basically repeat yourself in every video that contains George Harrison how bad is that? Yes we all got it now - you don't like George and you don't respect his music. Now shut you fucking gob and get lost.

  • @gietek - I HATE George Harrison! Why is that so wrong? Must we all LOVE his music? Look, I have a right to hate his weak voice. His jangly guitar playing. His horrible lyrics! My god, even his SWEET LORD was PLAGIARIZED. Imagine dedicating a song to your "lord" that you STOLE! Ugh!

  • @FrightwoIf Ah there we are. You just hate George. Say no more.

  • @gietek - LOL Wasn't it obvious? Listen, no matter how much I may "hate" George's questionable personality (I think he was a manic depressive)...nobody hated George more than HIMSELF. His self loathing is obvious.

  • @FrightwoIf No, I thought you just didn't like his songs. From what I have gathered so far it looks like you are obsessed with George. There's nothing wrong with him or with his talent or his singing or his playing - you just hate him so much that you hate anything related to him. As for manic depression - rubbish! George was full of himself even though he didn't want to admit it.

  • @gietek - How often do you remember George smiling?

Mind you, I understand some people are just quiet but

there was NEVER anything "quiet" about George. My god,

the man complained constantly. That he would feign this

RELIGIOUS NONSENSE was even more silly. Imagine

preaching the evils of MATERIALISM and then flying home

to his 120-room mansion on his private jet! Preaching to

poor Indians the value of spirituality when he himself

owned a $800 million race car collection! What's to LIKE?

  • @FrightwoIf I don't know. You tell me. What's to like about a man who dumps his wife and child to get married to an eccentric Asian woman? Or what's to like about a man who is so full of himself that he wants to become the manager of the band and cares only about the money? What's to like about a man who sends to his fans a warning "with peace and love"? You hate George so much that you can't look at him from a different perspective. And you decided to spread your hatred in George's videos.

  • @gietek - The critical difference between John and George:

John never pretended to be anything else....and John had

TALENT. I know a half dozen guitarists...all professional.

These guys grew up wanting to play like Clapton, Hendrix

and Stevie Ray Vahn. Not a ONE of them grew up wanting

to play like George Harrison. Not a single one!

  • @FrightwoIf The same can be said about John Paul or Ringo (who would want to play like Ringo?). John was actually the worst player technically speaking. Your unjustified hatred stops you from appreciating Harrison's talent. This discussion is not going anywhere so I'm going to shut up now but I don't know if I can restrain myself from saying something sarcastic if I see one of your pathetic posts again.

  • @FrightwoIf,What the fuck is your problem pal?

  • @98bigbutt -I find George's negative personality

and constant life time of complaining tiring. It might

be different if George HAD BEEN a huge musical

talent. We always give our talented artists lots of

latitude when it comes to their personality issues.

Making things worse was his hypocrisy. He lectured

against MATERIALISM but lived in a 120-room

mansion. He can be forgiven, though. George had

stood so close to the gods that after a while, he

    confused himself for one too.

  • @FrightwoIf,Shut up and stop commenting troll.

  • @98bigbutt - George's new (only) documentary is now

on sale at the $3 CD bin at Wal Mart. Except that most

Harrison fans tend to shop at Ross. I bought 10 copies

and use them for Christmas Tree ornaments...they're

so sparkly. Hey, you look Mexican. Perhaps Oliva is the

reason you like George? Sort of the greatest "Green Card"

story you Mexicans have ever heard! George bought the

120-room Friar Park when Olivia said "Jorge, my Mexican

brothers y sisters ees moving in wit us"!

  • @FrightwoIf,And I'm going to get it.

  • @FrightwoIf,First off I'm not Mexican and second his wife isn't the reason why I like George but his musical talents and his views in life.

  • @98bigbutt - If I were Mexican I would deny it too! Even

Olivia tells some people she's Irish and that her relatives

came over on the Mayflower. As for George's "talent" and

views on life, I think George is hardly qualified. I mean, he

not only wrote an awful lot of bad songs, his biggest "hit"

turned out to be PLAGIARIZED. As for his view on life, the

man literally SMOKED HIMSELF TO DEATH. What kind of

    "view" could he have?

  • @FrightwoIf,The reason I say that because my parents are from El Salvador and I was born in NYC.

  • @FrightwoIf,You're a dick.

  • @98bigbutt ... and YOU have a big butt.

  • @FrightwoIf,You're still a dick. You're probably one of those assholes that thinks that Lady Gaga is actually music.

  • @98bigbutt - I don't listen to POP music at all. My interests

are eclectic (look it up, Gomez). Not too ironically, I often

compare George Harrison to Neil Diamond, John Denver,

Abba, Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga. George's music makes

me cringe. When I hear "Crackerbox Palace" or "When We

Was Fab" I want to vomit. What on earth is a Beatle doing

writing this shit? I mean, really.

  • @FrightwoIf

George introduced the Sitar, Tabla and many other exotic instruments to group before and after his trip. Without George Harrison we wouldn't have crazy melody sounds in the songs like, Norwegian Wood (Sitar), Strawberry Fields Forever (TImpani, Swarmandal) Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds (Sitar), Tomorrow Never Knows (Sitar, Tambura, backwards guitar solo, Across the Universe (Sitar), I'm Only Sleeping ( backwards guitar). Give the man credit. I treat them all equally.

  • rip george

  • Its kinda different from the movie. good song though. :[ RIP

  • Don't pick on George, he was a man of love and peace.

  • He and John Lennon were the most talented of the beatles, and their both dead...hmm....

  • easily one of their trippiest songs

    poor subdued george

  • Huh, this one hasn't got all the studio trickery and effects, and what's more the lyrics are quite different here and there. He tends to say like, "myself" rather than "like that" at the end of some sentences. The version I'm used to is from the Yellow Submarine album (supposedly...).

  • @Jornev Seems to be a studio outtake.

  • George under rated beatle......

  • i hadn't heard this song for years!!!nice video

  • olaaaah!! nice song also...

  • ooh yeah ;-)

  • It almost sounds like "If I needed someone".

    /peace

  • U re right

    ;)

  • olaaaaaaaaaa 5 stars *****

  • *****^^

  • i saw that yesterday!i remember that!i like his pictures!
