That was so cool. Really enjoyed it. Now I feel I can actually learn one of my favorite songs by my guitar hero. RIP Gary. Thank you very much Please post more like this. your good and you teach at a good pace. Not all of us are super fast on the guitar neck, some of us just want to be
A little too fast for my liking but I'm still learning how to play the guitar..i"m more of visual learner-- guess u had to be there to really make full use of instruction..luv the dude's accent though..cud stand to listen to him..
@TheWestlin The loooong tone or 'sustain' is usually about the distortion or overdrive you use. Different types of amps, EQ settings, guitars. pickups etc... all contribute to sustain. The quick answer is to experiment with different types of distortion, usually the more 'gain' (amount of distortion) you have the more sustain you'll get. For this song use a neck pickup, ideally a humbucker, turn the gain up fairly high but smooth out the sound with your tone knob and add delay, use Vibrato :0)
To a tribute to Gary I'm going to start learning this song. One underrated guitar player and a great great man. RIP Gary.... thanks for the great music for many years.
awesome!! my guitar teacher taught me this song but with the intro part on the bottom e string, but this sounds a lot better :D!!
