I havn't been uploading videos because I don't have scores for most of the rags yet; the scores have to be prepared; also, some of them need arranging. I plan to do this eventually but have not to date. Anyway, I'm glad you like the music; thanks for the comment.

Wonderful work! I have been a fan of Scott Joplin for years and I play a number of his rags. It is great to see that this is a living genre of piano music and that people are still writing in this style. The choice of theme is also great - Obama's inauguration has so many people around the world very excited and eager to see some change. Maybe someone should set your rag to footage/pictures of the inauguration. Make a little montage.

I'm glad you liked it, I've written about nine rags and this is probably the best one in terms of popularity. Interesting idea about the montage, I don't know how to go about doing it though. I couldn't even figure out how to edit out me turning off the camera at the end of the video (whenever I tried to do it, the sound got out of sync with the picture, so I had to leave it in).

There used to be a guy in the '80s that did this... he had the words and music and created all these political rags.... I can't remember his name.

I forgot to add, I write lots of stuff and end up either crossing it out or just abandoning it. You have to write a lot of bad stuff to come up with just some good material. It's the same thing with literary writing.
