DX5....Professional work. Thankyou for keeping this type of music alive!! I am only 24 but I also love the sound of vintage synthesizers and new wave. In a world of "virtual", "sort-of", and "kind-of" analog....You just can't beat the real deal....
You and Keybdwizrd need to get together and collaborate!!!!

You have such a wide range of music covered. You're awesome! Every group would be proud of you! Have any of the groups you've covered ever contacted you? If you give lessons, sign me up! Thankyou , Great work as always.........
@basementdweller1 Was checking your videos but didn't find your cover. I would like to listen to it. I will cover that track as soon as I can manage the right time.
@DX5 follw up to my previous comment ralf hutter was the brains behind Kraftwerk but florian did most of lead in this song , still brilliant my friend, if you can accept me as an anglo indian that grew up with Kraftwerk
I like that someone in this world crazy about all these new devices still can prove that the old ones are nothing worse. Maybe it's because of the one who plays it, too;)
Well, however I don't know anything about these 'devices'. But does it matter when you hear this?
I really like your covers for a long time and favorited you. I have an opinion... I think the JP-8000 is more for trance music than synthpop. I think Korg synthesis sounds very synthpopish... Have you ever checked the new Microkorg XL and Radias? The new synthesis are very solid! kikass video!
I don't hear much good about the JP8000. Besides the supersaw, it's rather thin, they say.
But then again I see your vids where you play nice bright sounds or bass parts on the JP8000 and too me it sounds very okay.
Still I'm wondering if you can feel the bass vibrations when you play it ? (youtube probably strips the lower part so I can't tell it by looking at your vids alone)
@Keybern I just bought a brand new JP8k and it sounds awesome. Is not as fatter as a Minimoog or an Oberheim but that hasn't been the Roland sound. I have a Juno 106 and the JP8k kicks the ass out off it. For me it has the typical Roland sound, filters are not bad but not as good as in the Jup8. And you have tons of faders to play and Sync, and XMod and Ring Mod and 2 Env and Arp. Oh well, I need to turn it on and have some fun with it.
Sigue asi!
@DX5 Make sure SCSI ID-s are not conflicting and that termination is set right.... I just had some funky error with my ESI-4000 when I hooked up a scsi cd-rom... the internal ID was lower than the cd-rom and it didn't work until I pushed the internal scsi id (the sampler) to 6, over the cd-rom's id (4)... Funny things :)
@DX5 The Iomega drives are always trouble!! I have one on my Esi4000 and I don't use it now. Because If I use it I risk losing al the data. I use a SCSI hard drive and a SCSI CD-ROM... With a computer on the far end of the chain. This way I can save banks to the Hard Drive, then use the computer to burn a drive cop of that on a CD, which can then be read back from the SCSI CD-Rom any time I want that bank again. This way is a lot more reliable. Those Iomega Drives are a nightmare. Good Luck
Estoy flipando con tu canal. Es increíble lo bien que tocas temas de los 80. Tus versiones suenan fenomenal.

Guess it´s hard because they didn´t use regular synthesizer back in days but used homemade ones.
Anyway good job!

@ThisisRends They only use custom electronic drums. Their first sequences were made for them. The bassline of Autobahn uses a Minimoog for instance.
