  • Estoy flipando con tu canal. Es increíble lo bien que tocas temas de los 80. Tus versiones suenan fenomenal.

  • I'm showing my son this. perfect!!! love the way its all wired in too

  • Hi, would you be able to do a cover of Depeche Mode's song "Tora Tora Tora"? If you can, that's great! Nice synthpop vids, by the way!

  • clever would give florian schneider a run for his money,

  • DX5....Professional work. Thankyou for keeping this type of music alive!! I am only 24 but I also love the sound of vintage synthesizers and new wave. In a world of "virtual", "sort-of", and "kind-of" analog....You just can't beat the real deal....

You and Keybdwizrd need to get together and collaborate!!!!

His videos convinced me to get the Dave Smith Prophet '08

  • This is the best synth cover ever of this song!!! You are absolutely amazing, no doubt about it!!!

  • 2nd to original

  • Please add a vocal to this.

  • Ralf and Florian would be proud. Love the reel-to-reel. Looks like you have your own KlingKlang studio.

  • Really love this except the end you should have held that last high note.

  • Amazing work as always man! I love how the JP sounds on this!

  • thumbs up

  • For those that don't know, reel to reel predates the 8-track!

  • Nice performance, as always. I'd like to see some more Kraftwerk stuff. =D

  • Ahhh the halcyon days of tape! Brilliant!

  • Wow, awersome job man!

  • I hope nobody can see that I've been listening to this the whole day ;D

  • I like that someone in this world crazy about all these new devices still can prove that the old ones are nothing worse. Maybe it's because of the one who plays it, too;)

Well, however I don't know anything about these 'devices'. But does it matter when you hear this?

  • Yes, one of the best performer on Youtube, good player, correct sounds and match the best songs ever made !-)

    BRAVOO!!!!!

  • those revoxes are amazing

  • Super , ganz toll

  • you must spend a lot of money on those keyboards and electronics shit

  • Is that a Teac Reel-2-Reel just like Depeche Mode used in 1980-1982?

  • Wait your using tape sync in this video? If not, then what does the reel to reel tape recorder/player do here? Please let me know, I'm curious.

  • @VacTrooper The reel to reel tape contains the backtrack I've previously recorded in Pro tools.

    Regards.

    DX5

  • Nice one, it shows you dont need a real analogue... the jp8000 is very authentic

  • Thank you so much for working on this. You are the best! I know that you could do Kraftwerk to a T. They were poineers in synth music. Great job!

  • Hi DX5 i wonder why kraftwek change the sound on their live sets..? also it reminds me of showroom dummies too i love you playing :)

  • f**kin shit !

    so great !

    I love kraftwerk

"Sie ist ein Model und sie sieht gut aus" ( :

  • Fantastic. 5/5

  • COOL! =)

  • WONDERFUL COVER!!!

  • Nice

I love New Muisk, can u try them?

  • fantastic work mate..

  • Wow, one of my favorite Bands. Sounds cool but it seems hard to replicate the original Kraftwerk sounds or?

Guess it´s hard because they didn´t use regular synthesizer back in days but used homemade ones.

    Anyway good job!

  • @ThisisRends They only use custom electronic drums. Their first sequences were made for them. The bassline of Autobahn uses a Minimoog for instance.

  • Wow!Very cool...

  • Awesome,, it's sounds just like the original.. Great work, Great song,,

  • Fantastic!!!

  • I like!!!!!

  • fantastico!

  • Great ...

  • super... particularly your depeche mode covers...

  • I really like your covers for a long time and favorited you. I have an opinion... I think the JP-8000 is more for trance music than synthpop. I think Korg synthesis sounds very synthpopish... Have you ever checked the new Microkorg XL and Radias? The new synthesis are very solid! kikass video!

  • Fantastico

  • I don't hear much good about the JP8000. Besides the supersaw, it's rather thin, they say.

But then again I see your vids where you play nice bright sounds or bass parts on the JP8000 and too me it sounds very okay.

Still I'm wondering if you can feel the bass vibrations when you play it ? (youtube probably strips the lower part so I can't tell it by looking at your vids alone)

  • @Keybern I just bought a brand new JP8k and it sounds awesome. Is not as fatter as a Minimoog or an Oberheim but that hasn't been the Roland sound. I have a Juno 106 and the JP8k kicks the ass out off it. For me it has the typical Roland sound, filters are not bad but not as good as in the Jup8. And you have tons of faders to play and Sync, and XMod and Ring Mod and 2 Env and Arp. Oh well, I need to turn it on and have some fun with it.

  • Awesome!! how about some New Order? like Touch by the hand of GOD! love that song :D

  • Nice i like Emu Choir voice

  • great job!!!

  • wow brillant the roland JP-8000 sounds perfect i am going to do a cover of this song but it wont be as good as yours

  • great one....

  • Awesome boa vila!

  • Que bueno macadeino si señor! 10++++

  • Awesome work. Well done.

  • Great job - that JP8000 patch sounds really good too

  • wow! amazing tune ;-)

  • Good !

    Analog v.s. Digital

Sigue asi!

    Salu2

  • What is that little device on top of Emax?

  • @Eqnimda Looks like a Syquest hard drive for storage

  • @Eqnimda It is an Iomega Jaz Drive. I am still trying to get it working (some SCSI error). This Emax also have internal HD.

  • @DX5 Make sure SCSI ID-s are not conflicting and that termination is set right.... I just had some funky error with my ESI-4000 when I hooked up a scsi cd-rom... the internal ID was lower than the cd-rom and it didn't work until I pushed the internal scsi id (the sampler) to 6, over the cd-rom's id (4)... Funny things :)

  • @DX5 The Iomega drives are always trouble!! I have one on my Esi4000 and I don't use it now. Because If I use it I risk losing al the data. I use a SCSI hard drive and a SCSI CD-ROM... With a computer on the far end of the chain. This way I can save banks to the Hard Drive, then use the computer to burn a drive cop of that on a CD, which can then be read back from the SCSI CD-Rom any time I want that bank again. This way is a lot more reliable. Those Iomega Drives are a nightmare. Good Luck

  • @Eqnimda Looks like a Jazz drive. I could be wrong.

  • wow dx 5 this my fav song from krafwerk 10 out of 5 :)

  • About time :P

Nice work man keep it up

  • Cool.

    Very Good.

  • as always mate,superduper,you are the man.........nice....
