heck back in 92 we replace kickers, mtx, punch, and sevral others with these kind and oh man they hit hard !!!!!! now the hyper pros are insane!!! i have 4 10's on a 2000 watt planet mono amp and it hurts to be inside the truck no bull!!!
@txknightrider82 --- yeah i miss my original super pro's damn things sure did pound hard as hell couldnt breath in the car lol. this one is a cheap wanna be thing they started to make a few yrs ago the magnets are smaller and they sure dont take the power they claim. i blew this in a weeks time. i had 2 15's when i was 16 back in 94 man they sure hit hard.

thats because kickers are not built for everyday use there only building them for spl these days i watch them blow all the time. i will never buy a kicker unless its the old skool still water design subs they bang. but the new ones suck.

and since all these newer subs are junk anyway lol it would be the reason why i am trying out different things trying to find the ultimate sub i cant blow. and i have blow alot. blaupunkts i had the transparent series subs there transparent blue color handle 200 rms each same as punch p2's they did well sounded good but only last me a year. old type r 12's 300 rms each blew them in 2 months. the cozmik i got kinda stiffed bought it realized it was a dvc sub only had one coil wired hmm ill email

it was supposed to be 1000watts peak (500RMS) but i had it on a 2000 Performance Teknique amp @ 15.6 volts
its around 1000 RMS & it was hitting really hard with very low frequencies.. & now the positive wire its all rip, but the coil & the subwoofer still in grea shape.. & its the old school models
probably around 2002-04

In 1995 I reckon I felt some awesome heart hitting bass. Everything made in China or Taiwan but designed in USA is very questionable now. I live in Australia.

kickers can take more than they say, i have mine (CVR 12s) running at 2000 watts @ 15.6 volts & they can handle it very good
but they cant reproduce low frequencies :[
so you dont what is going to be ur next sub?
