@CYCLONE1082 Me too, animated text is difficult in sony vegas, you can only move it on the screen you cannot make new text appear for example letter by letter, if you just want to move the text over the screen, search for TRACK MOTION SONY VEGAS TUTORIAL

okay so i did everything you said in the video but the text won't actually show up on the video. it's there above the video in the timeline but when i play it it doesn't show. can you help?

@TastyTeo i figured it out about a half hour ago. i had the main time line, the one with the video i wanted to add subtitles to, on solo so it would only allow itself to show up. the subtitles were there it was just like put at the bottom i guess. anyway i took the timeline off of solo and the subtitles popped up.
