  • his bald head is sweating from that overkill job...

  • hmm, not very good. Even with his cheat sheet he didn't know something as basic as a resitor tolerance band?! After all there's only 3 possible options on tolerance band: gold is 5%, silver is 10% none means 20%.

  • All the finesse of a bull in a china store. Might as well yank it out with your teeth.

  • All the finesse of a bull in a china store.

  • It's a 3k ohm resistor with a 5% tolerance. Gold is 5%, Silver is 10%.

  • yea tis gus is making all kings of mistakes

  • isn't gold 5%?

  • Best thing about butane soldering irons is that you can smoke crack with them as well as solder.

  • The man is a cluts.

Hate to see him remove a transistor or an IC.

He would have burned it up.

  • ...this guy seems clumsy as fuck....is this a joke!.....

  • learn how to fail at removing a resistor in this video which only costs you 2:29 minutes of your life

  • DUDE?! This video is titled "How To Remove a Resistor Soldered to a Circuit Board."

Why the moneky's uncle would I watch it if I - quote "know how to remove solder"

    GAH!

You claim to be an expert, but I think I'm going to get more know-how out of someone called "cappadelcappa"!

    *shakes head*

     its madness.

  • @AlawiGMX hey i also have another question. if u like. i have before me this resistor it has no collors but it says in letters that its 6.2 M and the the Ohms sign so its 6.2 M Ohms. fuck me if i know what this means but okay. the weird part is when i try to take a measurement with the multi meter on the ohms range i get no reading what so ever. i have tried all ranges with 2 diffrerent meters...

  • i was looking to his head

  • I wanna rub your head

  • question: i want to replace a defective resistor. its 0.33 ohm but i dont know the WATTS does it matter if i replace it with a 1 2 or 0.25 watt ? 0.33 ohm one ?

  • i dont think he has the 20+ yrs of soldering exp he says he has. And whats the point of the helping hand if its not held down?

  • Wow, this guy is really bad at doing this.

  • God my electronics class can do this easy as pie.

And we are sophmores in HS!

  • "gold i think is 10%" wrong its 5%. Just another prime example of why expert village blows.

  • Hey, look on the bright side. At least he's not a surgeon.

  • thank god lol

  • wow, his soldering iron sucks more than mine(my first). plus he's using that sucker thing which i think sucks. i use soldering braid(not the best but it works for getting components up).

  • @bc0wful yeah really a preference of for certain components.

I would use braid for more sensitive and smaller components

  • That was too brutal to the resistor.

  • I just have the regular de-soldering braid from radio shack

  • this dude sure as hell doesnt know much about soldering. Desoldering doesnt need much but a small piece of solder wick to remove and for god sakes man get a desent solder iron

  • Well, I got one of those de-soldering tools from radio snack. They suck eggs. I went back and got the one-hand jobber with the rubber ball attached. It's a lot faster and doesn't lift traces or fry components.

  • Seriously... they are giving out wrong and BAD information how to do things.. for fuck sake, the guy never soldered in his whole life..

    "Expert: Ken D. Orlich

Bio: Ken Orlich has been soldering for over twenty years and has factory soldering experience." sure...

this is a good EXAMPEl of how not to do.

  • this guy dose no what hes dowing

  • not the best solering tips video from Expertvillage. And you should never try to grip off solder from a circuit boar - not good ;-)

  • gold is +- 5%
