  • GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY

  • bad form? okay if the person jogs for like 4 miles or even an hour with out stopping, shut up with your stupid comments about form, my God he is jogging, save your stupid ass form comments on every single weight exercise you comment about on youtube, Jogging is jogging, enough said, if he or she is losing the weight, then who the fuck cares, damn many of you are so critical for everything.

  • Cro magnon man running!?! Wt heck?

  • bad form, dont cross the arms

  • i really need to stop watching random videos and get a life...

  • @boboDaKilla

Hahaha, me too. I'm telling to myself "get a life, punk". Instead of going and finding some beautiful ladies to make love with I just sit here watching garbage!!! I must get a life, really!

  • Why a steak running?

  • If you want to learn how to run safely, and with FUN read "Barefoot Running Step By Step" by Ken Bob Saxton... Cheaper than shoes, and pure joy to do!

  • this isnt running its far too slow and the arms are wrong they shouldnt cross the body, this is JOGGING.

  • look a muscle is running! they call it running muscle..

  • Crikey and here`s me thinking that this was going to actually be interesting and informative....

  • A good lesson on how not to run. Look at this technique and make sure that you do not look like this. If you do, modify it, so that you can run more efficiently and with more speed. Beginner triathletes and runner beware.

Check out multisportfitnesstips for running training information

  • Completely useless. There was an advertisement covering up the most important part the entire time- the FEET.

  • there is no point to this video, it is not a muscle simulation, it is just a normal body mesh textured to look like muscles, so what are you trying to tell us?

  • @enger123 its just an animation test.....alot of animators and animation students actually upload their tests.....

  • ????????

  • Running muscles..... More like the muscles of the body

  • this was a complete waste of time

  • I guess this means that the entire muscular system is used in running. I just wonder how your glutes and abs are worked when running? O_o

  • @cdutta1990 Quite to the contrary. Core muscles are essential for a good runner.

  • @cdutta1990 Your "glutes" act on the ball and socket joint that is your ASS. When they contract they pull your upper leg (femur, right?) backwards, which is a vital component of running. Your ass works when you run.

  • The body is leaned forward so that is good. However, the arm swing should not cross one another. Foot should touch ground on mid-foot!

  • run mickey run

  • That guy is ripped! HAHAHA! Couldn't resist.

  • wheres the penis :P ?

  • @DerDussel97 I dont think theres so much muscles there XD

  • nice,

  • Nice

  • How does this show the running muscles??

  • @skianddie Lol your a fucking Idiot.

  • great stuff dude feel free to check my demo out

  • The arms are supposed to reach farther across the middle of the body so that you can completely twist from side to side.

  • Stupid

  • Useless video

  • Wow, that was completely uninformative and unhelpful.

  • @professor314 this is film and animation bitch stop whinning

  • lol that looks like the male model from posemaniac

  • Is it wrong that this makes me hungry?

  • hahahah that animation has very poor running posture

  • Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems and the beginning of the bigger industry ever maid in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.

  • I thought the arms aren't supposed to come across the body so much for effcient running technique. The hips and legs seem good though.

  • the arms aren't supposed to cross the body, this figure has poor form.

  • His arms and scapula's aren't doing the right thing in the walk. Looks like he is shrugging.

The run looks very nice though.

  • a professional runner simply doesn't shake arms like that

  • Look closely. That's Keanu Reeves in 'SPEED'. Sans clothes and the skin. Ha Ha Ha!!!

  • Hey, I think the run is looking solid. The walk might need some love though.

  • hey do you think I'll be able to compete. I can only run 2 kilometers max and in 9 minutes. I can probably run 5k if i pace myself. school training starts in two weeks. i train hard on weekdays and rest hard on sundays. any help would be appreciated.

  • dude no one gets cut from cross country team if u r bad or anything. you only get cut if ur bad if ur like a senior or a junior, cuz most coaches dont want to wast time training a slow junior or senior when they could be training a freshman or sophmore for the future

  • Hey I do 3 miles now and I have to pace, nothing wrong with that I see unless u want to compete for like marathons.

  • yeah not lettin da arms cross da body is more effective for runnin efficient but crossing da arms is also good for body toning and strengthin side muscles- but whatever the casual runnin feels more comfortable in i guess

  • the run is so much better than the walk.

I personally felt the walk animation had the arms swaying a bit too much, and a bit too far to the outside.

  • like an insecure football player at our school lol.

  • piece of advice...you need to study the mechanics of walk and run frame by frame. I've animated in feature films for more than 20 yrs now. If you want to be a good animator, simply study. The internet is a very useful library nowadays. good luck

  • A good runner does not let his arms cross the middle of the body because that causes a lot of side to side twisting motion which not only wastes energy but also makes one run slower.

  • true but most people do run like that

  • @thibaulthalpern I don't know the exact rules, but I believe the arm motions are to counteract the twisting of the legs, so does it matter?

  • @thibaulthalpern he must have weak ass abs den

  • @thibaulthalpern unless you are trying to strengthen your core as you run, which is pretty important

  • @thibaulthalpern a good runner also does not hell strike.

  • @thibaulthalpern but if it wastes alot of energy, then it allows for a quicker lost of calories. :D

  • but the walk is jerkky.

  • Very nice!!

A couple things though: The feet don't seem to lift off the ground that much - too much drag. The running cycle is great except maybe have everything such as the hip swivel a bit more exaggerated to look less stiff.

    Great work!

  • hahahahahahahaha whats the point here??? thats a whole muscle man!!!!

  • nice man :)

  • ???

  • What is the source of your confusion? I think it is an attempt to highlight the muscles activated in running... only it's showing all of them... it doesn't show which ones are working more for example.
