I have visited this park in Harbin, China. There is inadequate funding from the government and having visitors feed them is the only way to sustain their numbers. The numbers speak for themselves, as there are about 700 tigers in this zoo. If they let them out the Tigers would easily die as they were all bred in captivity. It's not like a zoo in America or Europe where the government will fund everything.
Chinese are subspecies, millions of them enjoy cruelty. They should be used as prey instead of domestic animals. All on the bus and those working in the park should be thrown to tigers. One of the ways to decrease chinese population and do good in the world.

1) they live in the wild, compete with humans and get shot
2) rot in an small zoo enclosure, eating filet mignon on a plate, sleeping and pacing for most the day
3) live a somewhat better life on a open range zoo. chasing prey and getting the closest substitute to the wild (considering it's captivity)
4) ideally, living in a perfect world, where everything is free (its not going to happen. we've stuffed everything over)

Those are not chickens, they are guinea fowl! That didn't bother me as much as the lamb did! I understand that they have to eat and they hunt in the wild, so this is just part of enrichment, however, it is difficult to watch. That last picture was a Liger. The offspring of a lion father and a tiger mother. And a Tigron is tiger father and lion mother! I just hope that this was not a tiger farm. Raising them for their body parts and pelts! So Disgusting!!!!

Yes this is a tiger farm. It was exposed in the 1990's by the Tiger Trust and it is still functioning as one whatever the authorities may say.

These cats get their game live, because they like their prey fresh and kicking. It appeases the hunter in them, and keeps their human keepers safe. Otherwise, everyone on the tour bus was just a bunch of Incredible Edibles.
