Good but I like to put 4+ rounds to the body then a couple quickly to the head. With my .45 15+ mag means I can engage 2 threats then reload or if I have my xdm 9mm with 20 rounds I can engage 3 threats (dont have to worry about counting rounds & running out at a bad time). I would also do a quicker search at the end but thats just me.
BTW why do you call it a "failure drill"? Just curious because I didn't see you push to the point failure. TIA
The SUL (south) position is one in which you can be surrounded by people or team members and still move and scan without muzzling anyone. The muzzle must point straight down, ergo the hand positioning, and a muscle memory develops based on familiar tactile response.
Could you explain the holding position of the firearm @ 0:13 with the left hand palm down on the torso and the firearm resting on the back of the hand? I have never seen that.
