what key is this one in? sounds WAY different than the normal one. and @ 2:27, y's he holding the trumpet sideways? there's a lot of HS students doin that. is it a new trend or something? lol
Nice. =] I doubt the slips the trumpeters made will be obvious to people who dunno what's supposed to be right and wrong in the song. Just a little buzzing practice and things should be fine. =] The drummer had some badass playing there. =] Nice tenor saxophonist!! I used to be a tenor sax player myself before switching to baritone sax. Trombonist did an awesome job. 'Nuff said. =] Flautist didn't do bad,but didn't stand out as much as everyone else. But i did enjoy the vid nonetheless. =]
we just did this song and one of the girls in the jazz band, her name is sarah, she played a flute solo, it goes very nicely with this song, i strongly suggest that u keep asking for a solo in this, i sounds incredible when played well
im sorry, but unless they are new definitely upper octave on trumpet :( besides that and the obvious camera position problem very nice. Children just isn't the same with that upper octave.
No discussion: The drummer is pretty cool. Hard man, fine. He should do the work in a better big band. And, yes: the trompets got problems. Trombones: not big enough. Flute: boring.
I'm playing this song in my jazz band and this is totally different ending wise. The drummer was too loud throughout the entire piece. Trumpets need to play the high octave. It sounded very good though!
you guys are awsome!, love the soloists, Tennor and trumpet, keep it up!, we also play this piece and I must admit, you guys are terrific! I can't belive no one has commented!..Was that a flute playing a solo?...AWSOME!!!I play both flute and Alto sax...Amazing guys!!!
the drummer is good :)

The flute solo was really nice, he didn't studder or fall out of the groove once. Rather nice performance all in all, needs some practice, but still.

Ich finde den Schlagzeuger (türkischer Landsmann?) sehr diszipliniert. Angenehme Härte. Der lässt die Bläser nicht zockeln. *grins*
Schöne Offbeats.

Going to play this soon in Jazz Band :D

The drummer should have toned it down a bit. The percussion and cymbals were too dominant at times,

Yeah, the horns and the amps were not facing the camera which may have added to it. It sounded better on stage.

I have to agree, if your gonna play it play it play the original, and for god sake play the intro up the octave.
