you people are stupid. i live on an air force base across from a TLF so i park my car in the parking lot, and someidiot in a 2010 camaro parked in the middle of 2 spots, right over the line, so no one would park next to his car. know what i did? i parked SO close to his drivers door that he wouldnt be able to fit at all. then my girlfriend came over and parked that close to his passenger door, too. then we left a note that said, "cameras are watching so no vandalism. learn to park, dumbfuck"
and i dont understand why someone would do this to a car that's better than theirs but not to a car that is exactly like theirs. Sounds a little jealous to me.

I am seeing a lot of V6 RS Camaros, about 3 or 4 a day during my 1 hour commute in Virginia. All of them being driven by Women... I watched 2 woman last week, one in a V6 Camaro and one in a V6 Mustang go at it..... Nice.. I chased them down to see who won.. Looked like the Mustang Won (Not saying that because I have a 05 GT) but the Camaro spun off the line. Both were older ladies, like my older (late 30's to 40's) it was cool

The Camaro actually avoids the gas guzzler tax. EPA is around 25. But owners have gotten better...benefits of the C6 engine. They both are even to 60, but the SS leaves in the quarter. The Z doesn't break into the 12's. I don't think it tops out above 160, if it does, my mistake.

FYI the SS can do 12.9. I saw an article in C&D on the Nismo. I like it, was red, and I like the shape. I just don't like the price, they criticized it for 40k base price and import tuner looks. Especially since the Camaro SS base is 31k. However I wouldn't spend 40k on the SS. I might as well buy a C6. Hey wait a sec, a C6 starts around 40k, weighs about 3300, and is a 2 seater, nobody would dispute it's handling. I think we've been picking on the wrong candidate from GM.:-)

I have a 2005 Mustang GT that runs 12.2 in the 1/4 with a stock motor, auto trans, and bolt ons only. it weighs 3600 with me driving (I weigh 220) My friends 2010 SS runs 13.2 with intake and tune his weighs 4110 with him in it (he weighs 200)

Well yes a 'regular' front wheel drive passanger car may be faster on the take off than a rearwheel drive car, but look at the specs the new Camaro, even at its base model it as a LLT 3.6 L V6 with 304hp. Compared to a Camry or Kia or some crappy sedan thats base model puts out approx. 133hp, big diffrence! Any 'normal' car wouldnt stand a chance on the drag strip.

Sike, a 370z is faster and it has a smaller engine and consume less gas and it can do more than just go fast in a straight line stupid ass and its cheaper the only downfall is that its a 2 seater. the only fast STOCK muscle car is zr1.

I am seeing a lot of V6 RS Camaros, about 3 or 4 a day during my 1 hour commute in Virginia. All of them being driven by Women... I watched 2 woman last week, one in a V6 Camaro and one in a V6 Mustang go at it..... Nice.. I chased them down to see who won.. Looked like the Mustang Won (Not saying that because I have a 05 GT) but the Camaro spun off the line. Both were older ladies, like my older (late 30's to 40's) it was cool

mm; despite the bitching over V6s being in Camaros/Mustangs/you-name-it (probably from people who don't even own one), the majority of cars sold are V6s; personally I reckon we should be happy they sell them, as they keep the production numbers up enough for the more 'performance' versions of the cars to be economically viable..

H1dumbasslarry the new camaro has better suspension setup then your ricer. No solid axel here, Independent rear suspension and the rest of the package. when they finally take it to the ring it will have a hell of a faster time than a Z.

Dont be mad because a fat ass engine that produces a lot more power than the 370z can't beat a smaller engine car.This car is doing so well cause of the movie only. it looks nice, that's all i give it. for a 6.2 liter and its slower than a 3.7 liter car , its a shit car to be honest with you. Its also american so the value of this car will go down at a faster rate than many other cars.

The Camaro actually avoids the gas guzzler tax. EPA is around 25. But owners have gotten better...benefits of the C6 engine. They both are even to 60, but the SS leaves in the quarter. The Z doesn't break into the 12's. I don't think it tops out above 160, if it does, my mistake.

FYI the SS can do 12.9. I saw an article in C&D on the Nismo. I like it, was red, and I like the shape. I just don't like the price, they criticized it for 40k base price and import tuner looks. Especially since the Camaro SS base is 31k. However I wouldn't spend 40k on the SS. I might as well buy a C6. Hey wait a sec, a C6 starts around 40k, weighs about 3300, and is a 2 seater, nobody would dispute it's handling. I think we've been picking on the wrong candidate from GM.:-)

The Camaro can do 12.9 in perfect conditions. Low Density Altitude, Great Traction and Driver Skill. the average to good driver is seeing mid 13.s I have raced 5 2010 SS at the track and all of them were over 1 second slower than me.

I have a 2005 Mustang GT that runs 12.2 in the 1/4 with a stock motor, auto trans, and bolt ons only. it weighs 3600 with me driving (I weigh 220) My friends 2010 SS runs 13.2 with intake and tune his weighs 4110 with him in it (he weighs 200)

The Nismo 370z has much better handling, I will give you that. It is also nice looking as well. .99g compared to Camaro's .80 something. But in looking at the Camaro I am not looking for a handler, I already have an Evo. FYI Automobile mag got 157 for Camaro. Way I see it most people aren't going that fast, and most of the races you encounter are straightaways, and very rarely will one have to test the handling limits of a car. It has 2 more seats, maybe the Camaro isn't the proper comparison?

Well yes a 'regular' front wheel drive passanger car may be faster on the take off than a rearwheel drive car, but look at the specs the new Camaro, even at its base model it as a LLT 3.6 L V6 with 304hp. Compared to a Camry or Kia or some crappy sedan thats base model puts out approx. 133hp, big diffrence! Any 'normal' car wouldnt stand a chance on the drag strip.

I consider it a muscle car because its cheap compared to all other 'super cars' and the zr1 does not destroy everything. a 80,000$ GT-R will whoop it ass on a track, skidpad but not in a straight line. The zr1 is the only STOCK fast american car then. I am debating between the Camaro and Corvette. I love this car, may wait for the convertible. But if this car costs near 40k, pretty sure the vert will be close as well. I may just get the Corvette. Brand new ones can go for just under 40k at the end of the year.
