The Old Testament scriptures are what they are; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Not everything the Israelites did was approved of by God, including this act. See 21:25.

David states himself in Psalm 51:4 that God's punishment on him is fair for his premeditated adultery & murder. God punishes those he loves (Proverbs 3:11-12). Hebrews 12:7-11 explains further. King David was God's representative to an entire nation. Discipline was harsh, public, and loving. If God didn't care about David he would've let him continue to hurt others and disgrace his people.

God did not kill King David's son, he simply took his protection away from David's newborn and allowed the child to succumb to ill health and death. There's a world of difference. It's like equating the sick and depraved practice of abortion (direct murder) with taking someone off of life support (allowing a natural death).

A lot of these people in these satanic bands look proud and successful at the height of their fame, but I can almost guarantee a majority of them are now some of the most miserable people on the face of this planet. There are no verses that say he even approved of it. Judges 21:25 states "In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit." You are misrepresenting scripture. By your same logic, God commanded Jezebel to murder all of the prophets. Just because it's in the Old Testament doesn't mean God commanded or approved it.

Honestly i don't have a problem with the makers of this video and i guess it could have been a good tool for parents to let them know about their kids bands(or a good tool for kids like myself to find new bands that i wouldn't have exposed to otherwise)

Unfortunately christians don't really take everything as face value, I have studied the bible extensively and stopped believing in the new testament for many reasons even before finding out that in Revelation 22:16 when Jesus claims to be the root of david and Lucifer aka the morning star.

Because Isaiah said the Saviour would be hung from a tree (the cross). There is definitely Christian symbolism in the tree as can be seen by the people sitting on the branches. Jesus likens our faith and connection to Him as branches and He as the tree. If we stop believing in God, we are cut from the tree and we wither. In the video, the guy was actually knocking the people off the tree.

Again thanks to this movie i'm a big fan of XTC but something i've never understood was a big point of the song is him not believing in God, but listening to the lyrics they're is so much hate toward GOD and pain obviously caused by him. Honestly i don't have a problem with the makers of this video and i guess it could have been a good tool for parents to let them know about their kids bands(or a good tool for kids like myself to find new bands that i wouldn't have exposed to otherwise)
but they kinda put the worse part of Scraping Foetus off the wheel's song, most of that song is kinda rockabilly and i think they only did it to piss people off or make people laugh. I'm a Christian and i wasn't really offended by it.

Unfortunately christians don't really take everything as face value, I have studied the bible extensively and stopped believing in the new testament for many reasons even before finding out that in Revelation 22:16 when Jesus claims to be the root of david and Lucifer aka the morning star.
I have showed this to almost everyone I know who is christian and they make excuses for it really pisses me off, the only prophetic book of the new testament and jesus practically calls himself the devil.

As for the eugenics concepts you describe, they've been exiled from legitimate science for decades. Also, religions have everything to gain from overpopulation because it boosts their numbers.

Evolution? If its in an old comment, ignore it. So you take brain development to be the onset of personhood. Perhaps, if a guy suddenly lost his brain and only had a pumping heart, I wouldnt see it imoral to kill him- but a baby is different because its going to have a brain. This means A- youd take away its chance at life while its growing B- you would have to be very sure it didnt have a brain before abortion, which would be hard.

Because Isaiah said the Saviour would be hung from a tree (the cross). There is definitely Christian symbolism in the tree as can be seen by the people sitting on the branches. Jesus likens our faith and connection to Him as branches and He as the tree. If we stop believing in God, we are cut from the tree and we wither. In the video, the guy was actually knocking the people off the tree.

I know Catholics and Calvinists who I like and respect, but evangelicals have the strangest, most insecure, whiny type of faith. If I was a fundamentalist I would be embarrassed. ...but wait!
