The MOST IMPORTANT thing to note is that this fine looking male is what we call a "sleeper". If I were to venture a guess, we're going to see this kid again and I hope he can act. So who is the sweet thing in this commercial? Whoever you are, I got my money on you.
Did I miss something here? Was it when the woman kissed the guy? Is she really a closeted lesbian? I don't get it. Why is this included in the Commercial Closet list?
So far I agree on every video - that none of them are "gay". In this one, at least, I think they're referring to the ass pat the guy got from the one man. Does that mean all football players and coaches are gay?
In the eyes of "Commercial Closet" any time a man touches another man you can be labeled as homosexual. So.... yes! If you are a football player, or a baseball player and you pat someone on the ass, then... yes, you are gay. But of course we need to remember that "Commercial Closet" is DESPERATELY seeking ANY reference to homosexuality, however insignificant and unwarranted, to legitimize it's very existence, which from what I've heard on the street is in a rapid downfall for lack of direction.
Never heard of Comm Closet so went to their website. Yeah, some pbviously are GLBT (like SF 49's supporting GLAAD) but others do appear are desperate. Think I'll stick with the GLAAD Media Awards.
Commercial Closet simply does NOT compare to GLAAD. Yes, stick with GLAAD. This is not the first time Commercial Closet has been "off the mark". But then the CEO (LOL) has absolutely no advertising or marketing experience. Go figure.
I think it's a real stretch to include the Dell spot under the banner "Super Bowl XLII Advertisers Play to Stereotypes and Homophobia" at all. I like what CCA does but I think there are enough real issues (and affronts) out there without making 'em up.
Okay the only gay thing that hit me during this one was "Gee I hope he's gay, because that would be great" other than that I found the ad to be just the opposite of gay it came across so hetero that I felt left out. My question to the CCA is what war are you fighting here and how much does it pay?
This is about as homosexual as the nipple clamps in the first one. Spanking butts in sports stand for good work or support. Both heterosexuals and homosexuals do it. But I guess CCA included anything that could even be construed as homosexual.
You winner you.
