no. the storyline goes like this. hwanhee is a gangster, i guess, and he has a girlfriend. after the shooting scene, hwanhee got face surgery-dont know why-, THEN he becomes brian..the girl still recognize him from his kiss.

in the story its all just one guy.... originally hwanhee... but when his girlfriend leaves him after seeing him shoot some guy (because he's a gangster), he shoots himself... and thats when he gets surgery and his face turns into brian's. Its logical that your face gets thinner and bonier... and the same guy (apparantly is now brian) goes back to the art studio remembering his girlfriend...
