I just bought a 1989 recording of Serra singing this aria and I would give it 5/5. It's on her "Opera Arias" CD released by Nuova Era.

I have never seen Serra live, only in recordings. Maybe her voice just doesn't record well. I've heard worse recordings from her so by her standards this is actually quite good. It's shrill and metallic, but not that bad. 3/2.

Dreadful voice here - She sounds like she is singing through a metal can. I'm sure she must be ill during this performance because she has a much better voice. For this performance:

It's hard to find the humor in this performance because the camera is so far away and I certainly don't hear any humor in her voice. As for her metallic sound, it's what I've come to expect from Serra. I think her sound and technique work well in some roles (like the Queen of the Night) but in other roles she sounds like a disaster. Anyway, 4/4.
