  • I know that but how? I tried everything. But the pin wont come off

  • SO u live in Saskatchatoon?

  • @HunterAndIanNERF No BC.

  • Any tips on maintenence?

  • @FELICARDO1970 Pellgun oil on the tip of each CO2 for the most part. Don't leave CO2 in it also.

  • My slide doesnt come off aswell... Its like stuck? and the pin is really hard to take off. I only could take it out a lil bit.

  • How do you take off the slide? Mines is like stuck on dude

  • @OctaviousTaylor642 You have to remove the pin near the trigger.

  • how many bb guns do u own?

  • @sammyboy12382 Lots, you can see them all over on my website at the address:

    replicaairguns(dot)com/my-airgun-blank-gun-collection/

  • Why won't my barrel stay on

  • One co2 cartridge last about 180 shots for me. Nice review.

  • @CosmicDragon206 That's great, must be in warm conditions and you must be slowing down your shots or at least taking some time in-between reloads.

  • @switchingtomac I bought 2 additional magazines so I reload quickly. Shooting indoors, draw and double tap, I get about 10 mags. It has a similar weight and feel to my SW99. It's a great introductory tool for proper weapon handling.

  • hey there thinking about buying this air gun but i have a question.

i want the orgional version cp99 compact but it seems that i can only order the recon version, so my question is the green dot sight and that whole assembly able to be taken off aswell as the barrel extension/ supressor?

because like i said would really like just the normal version if i can take all that off ill buy it!

    please let me know

    much appreciated.

  • @37chrome You can take everything off even including the suppressor but there barrel itself will stick out from the end about an inch or so as the recon version has a longer barrel which gives it the higher FPS.

  • I'm having trouble putting the slide back on the gun any advice?

  • Wtf do you mean about 100 rounds?!?! Like it breaks after that..

  • @TrollinVengance That's about how many rounds you get from 1 CO2 cartridge, I thought that was the question?

  • My slide won't stay back the slide will still go forward any help??

  • how exactly did you cut the ejection port i would like to do the same

  • @JRD88JRD Hacksaw, dremel, file and sandpaper combined.

  • I just got this gun it works great even tho I fired two full mags but it works great and I love it

  • @gokugt21 Glad you are enjoying it!

  • tight, little

  • i have this gun and it works really well...i love it .

  • hey can u make a slide removal video for this gun??

  • is the blowback harder than on the ppk?

  • @JUNAID187 Perhaps a bit as it has a larger slide.

  • orderd it cant wait for it to come in!

  • can you fire metal bb's

  • @robokid560 That's all this one shoots!

  • Oh no! Hees in canada eyh

  • @SammeThaMan Ja!

  • Is this bb gun like when u shoot , u gotta keep on like pulling the metal slide for it to shoot 1 bb at a time or is it the one who u can pull the metal slide once then you can be able to fire the 18 round magazine at once is its like that?

  • @mikepandy29 You only need to pull the slide back the first time and then the blowback will do it for you.

  • Can it be dry fired? Like, a lot?

  • @guitargod024 Yes, won't hurt it.

  • Hey, could anyone please tell me the difference between this model and the standard model?

  • @RooseTheMighty Other then the compact being designed after the compact version of the real gun… The CP99 compact shoots BB's and is also blowback with a tube style magazine while the CP99 shoots pellets and is not blowback, it also has a rotary magazine.

  • @switchingtomac Which one would you suggest I buy?

  • @RooseTheMighty The CP99 compact is more fun and cheaper, the CP99 is higher quality and more accurate. It's really up to you and what you are looking fro?

  • @switchingtomac One with a realistic cocking action, just for fun and looks.

  • can this use plastic bbs?

  • @FatherTimeIsMyName This gun is designed to shoot 4.5mm steel BB's only.

  • I just have one question though, is keeping a capsule inside without emptying it damadging for the BB? Also thanks for the pin tip to be able to disasemble the gun.

To me this object is more of a hobby to get to know i little bit of CO2 weaponary instead of shooting it or whatever,.

Removing the thing wichs makes te gun look more real is a definite no go for me, i don't think the gun look better.

In the future this might even be an add-slide-open-on to make the real weapon look more updated.

  • @Villagenutt It's best not to leave the CO2 in the gun for long periods of time.

  • Hi, i actually own this piece, even though its illegal to have in my coutry, the country i bought it in is only a few miles away from my house.

It's a great thing, and indeed hardly recommend it to every sport-shooter.

A very accurate BB and fun to shoot.

Nowadays i never use it, but it's simply a piece so cool (to me its more like a collectors item) just for the fun.

I always keep it in mi safe, but once in a while i want to feel it in my hands.

  • I love the Freedom the USA has to own a real gun and fire it. I'd love to be able to do that. I love shooting targets was always my hobby when I was younger with Air guns. But the people in UK are so stuck up now days if they see a person fireing a gun even an Air gun, they'd probably phone the Police and the Police over here just shoot you and ask questions later. Can't wait to leave the UK. Fucked up pansy place to live. Seriously. People are not very nice any more here. I hate it.

  • @JasonDolan In Canada you have to be careful about where you shoot even airguns. People are really gun scared here from lack of education and how the media makes every gun related news storey a negative one.

  • Anyone know the the gun laws in the UK at present?. I heard we can't even own an Airgun any more. I used to have a 1.77 Gat gun when I was a kid and later on I had a great .22 Rifle with scope and a BS Scorpion .22 - But they changed the gun laws after the Dunblane school massacre in Scotland. Can't buy Airguns over the internet any more. What is the law on shooting a 1.77? Am I allowed to fire in my garden?. Or will someone phone the Police and they'll send out the Armed Police to shoot me?

  • hi mike, i just bought one of these from a gun shop near me. i bought the bio colour version and it looks awesome. I think i have a problem with it though, I've just been firing it without bb's in, in order to show off the blowback in the house. the problem is though, is that it doesn't seem to always re-cock itself. can be after one shot, or after a number of rapid fire shots. I'm a newbie to co2 guns so I'm not sure.

  • @firks1991 When you shoot without BB's in make sure to take out the magazine or the slide will lock back. You can try a bit of lug on the slide area. If that does't fix it then you may beed to get it serviced.

  • @switchingtomac yeah i was firing it without the mag in. what is lug ? haha, some sort of lube i assume?

i just bought it today so i could take it back, but if it was something simple then id rather sort it out myself.

i was just wondering too, how does the blowback on this gun feel compared to the tanfoglio ?

    btw thanks for the info

  • @firks1991 Lug is Lub miss spelled :) The blowback on the CP99 is a bit less then the Witness but not by too much.

  • The slide on my CP99 is a bit loose after the first CO2 cartridge I used. It doesn't change performance, but I was wondering if this was normal and is there a way to tighten it?

  • @iLLestPiN0Y757 There generally is some free play on most blowback BB guns, perhaps it was like this but you did not notice ti at first? I can't see why it would become lose?

  • is it possible to kill a rat or a mouse with this BB gun?

  • @itzKanji Maybe a mouse but there are more humane air guns for the job.

  • Is it semi automatic?

  • @EatSleepIVIod Yes it is.

  • :) Ihad this gun ...its great nice vid

  • @sjones502 Thanks!

  • Hey I watched this video a couple of times and keep forgeting to ask.......my slide cath doesn't catch afther the last shot what should I do

  • @VWjettamk3VR6 It should lock back after the last BB. I am not sure why it would not, have you tired a different magazine?

  • @VWjettamk3VR6

Hi I had the same problem with my walther. After hours of fun shooting with it, I happened to notice that the cut out part of the slide where the slide catch lever locks into, was deformed, the metal of the slide was slightly bent so that the lever didn't lock, and hold the slide. I took out the slide and use a dremel multi tool to straighten the cut out back to its original state, now my gun operates just as its should and it catches the slides like new.good luck

  • I have this gun and I just have to pull the slider back and start shooting until the slider locks when the clip is empty. Mine does not have to be pulled back each and every time.

  • @rspruitt1 Yes it only needs to be pulled back the first time and then it shoots in true semi-auto.

  • How much and where did you get it?

  • @timothyxxxpaul I sell the Recon version on my Website for $139.

  • Nice video! Nice Gun! Nice Review! I liked and subbed

  • @THFURY Thanks!

  • @THFURY so

  • what did you use to cut the ejection port out

  • @05jakeb Hack Saw, Dremel, File and Sand Papper combined.

  • @switchingtomac Awesome Reveiw!! ;)

  • @k2Everest11 Thanks!

  • would you get this, or a Umarex SA177?

  • @fluffak47 Both very nice, comes down to what style you like the best. I think the CP99 has the edge on durability and shoot ability though.

  • @switchingtomac thanks

  • @k2Everest11 *Thanks

  • @switchingtomac Your the one who made me buy this. Thank! :)

  • @k2Everest11 I think the air gun companies should be sending me kick backs ;)

  • i have the same gun on my channel. check it out for another review!

  • @lola051868 No, plastic BB' are 6mm and this gun shoots 4.5mm.

  • can it take plastic bbs? i would like to use this in a tournament

  • @slk1771 no

  • watch KILLING A PEAR if u wanna see someone get shot in the eye with a gas bb gun

  • would you get this or the daisy 5501

  • @travis199urkul This for sure!

  • single fire dammnn i was gonna get it but now i change my mind i was semi auto

  • @Furealzies It is semi auto.

  • now at Wal-Mart for $70

  • Again sorry, not available in Canada, I have already reviewed pretty much all the blank guns that we can get for now.

  • @switchingtomac i have a store near me that sells this

  • @switchingtomac ok how about MP7?

  • @switchingtomac please can you make a review on HK P30 Blank gun pls

  • @multisheta Sorry, can't get it here in Canada...

  • My co2 wont pierce, even though I put rem oil on the top of the cartridge and do exactly as you do.

  • @shawny142 Sounds broken - Is it new, if so get it fixed under warrantee. Make sure the bottom part is unscrewed all the way before you finger tighten the top part as much as you can, then tighten the bottom part.

  • why do you never shoot your guns?

  • @TheDarkBlob Have you watch many of my videos? I shoot almost all my guns at some point. I used to do separate table top and shooting videos but for the last several months I have combined them. Here is the shooting review for this gun:

    youtube (dot) com/watch?v=SWHmNik10RY

  • Also, about the safety part... You don't have to pull back on the unlock to put it back in Safety, you can simply push it down. (Sorry for my bad english)

  • I bought my CP99 and I guess I did something to it, I'll tighten it enough to puncture the Co2, then the Co2 would backfire on me and be a completely wasteful cartridge, it did hold the pressure and all of that for the first month that I had it, it's a great gun though. :)

  • @mikesindahouse10 Sounds like the valve or rings may be broken.

  • could this kill anything

  • @exolt1357 Maybe a very small bird but it s not fir hunting, it is for plinking.

  • Without the different kinds of ammunition as a factor, is there any of the CO² guns with blowback (Px4 Storm, CP99 or SA177) you would particularily recommend when it comes to durability, accuracy etc.?

  • @MisterMire The CP99 Compact has bee a very reliable gun overall, probably my first pick.

  • @switchingtomac OK. Thank you for your reply.

  • nice video but mine shoots metal pellets :)

  • @langdog7 Lead pellets?

  • @switchingtomac i have this gun but for some reason the c02 cartridge instantly leaks out when i put it in. No i dont mean the c02 doesnt last very long, i mean it literally leaks the whole cartridge in about 20 seconds

  • Hey, what would you say the range of this weapon is?

  • i just bought a PC99, it's newer than this one and it's a total badass!!!

  • i got the silver slide version. its really good looking. i haven't yet fired it though

  • hi there, my gun does lock back at all, it slip? Can this effect the gun? Also any answers on the slide lock not working? Thanks!

  • yeah mine came with out the ejection port

  • i'm about to get one more (S&W 586 6" is the first) and i'm 50% for the p99 and the other 50% is for the umarex's glock 17. about the same speed and power.... i'm using this p99 review for a forum but what would you buy between these two ? both CO2 with BBs

  • @haibinede I kind of like the SA177.

  • How do you de-cock a Umarex Walther CP99 Compact? Is there a mechanism for that?

  • @infomatic Just put the safety on and it will de-cock.

  • i wish this version shot pellets, i know they do but it costs way more. how accurate is this gun?

  • @cott10r To have the vertical magazine with blowback you need it to be a BB gun. The guns is accurate for a BB gun.

  • @switchingtomac how much power does one lose do to the blow back action? id think it would use up some of the c02's power

  • @cott10r You lose some for sure but not as much as you would expect. This gun can get upwards to 100 shots also.

  • can you do a vid on walther damanator 1250?please respond. Thanks

  • @RoxyMikey It looks like a nice air rifle for sure but I do not own it or plan on owning it any time soon to review it. But you never know down the road?

  • How well put together is this gun?, Do any of the parts wiggle around at all?. like the slide for instance

  • @Nyu727 It's one of the better ones. On most blowback guns there is a bit of slide wiggle, if they make them too tight there may be too much friction. This gun is very well made and reliable.

  • what do you think about the Beretta M92 CO2 gun ?

  • @haibinede I just got two of them, one in all black and the other one used but in new condition that is silver with wood grips. Very nice guns, I have not shot them yet but they looks great.

  • Can you do a field test and shooting because i might get this gun. Thanks

  • @kingfate155 I do a field test of the Recon version, almost the same gun and I shoot the non-recon version for comparison in that field test. Video is called "Umarex Walther CP99 Compact Recon CO2 BB Gun Review"

  • can you try to get it if you cant get it i under stand.please respond. Thanks

  • can you do a review on the walther domanator 1250? cuz i might get one for crismas so i dont know if its any good? thanks.

  • @RoxyMikey I don't do too many non-replica reviews unless I have the item in my online store or won it personally. Not sure if I plan to carry or own this one.

  • doesn't it use alot of co2 for the blowback ?? is the non co2 one better ? what's ur opinion ?

  • @haibinede There is no non-blowback one in this exact model and it is actually pretty good on CO2 considering. The blowback make it a lot more fun to shoot!

  • @switchingtomac Thanks!

  • what bb gun out of your selection from you website would you recommend the most, i am looking for a pistol with high quality, high fps, and would like it to be co2

  • @Alec7132 There are many to choose from, that's kind of why I make the videos, to help you decide. Everyone is looking for something different as far as looks and features so I can not answer this question as it is a personal choice. What is good for me may not be good for you...

  • what type of paint did you use to paint your bb gun

  • @abregocamilo Sorry, I don't remember?

  • I just ordered this gun

  • @FPSCommunityGaming Enjoy :)

  • do you have to recock it everytime you shoot 1 round?

  • @DJBenMalchow No, the blowback does that for you, just for the first round.

  • @switchingtomac so after I fire the first round, i can shoot the gun repeatingly till the mag is empty without even cocking it?

  • @DJBenMalchow Yes.

  • @switchingtomac THANK YOU!!! I wasnt going to get it, if you always had to shoot and cock. You got my sub mate.

  • Just got this baby at Wal Mart for $50. It's really gnarly. I really love the weight/mag release.

Mine came with an ejection port that looks the same as yours post-modification. I guess I have a newer version of the gun?

Also, is there any safety tips when dealing with CO2? I have a constant fear that it'll get dislodged and blow up the grip of the gun/my hand while I'm firing, hehe.

  • @TheAlSiratHides As long as the CO2 is holding pressure then you are doing it right.

  • Is it airsoft? Like plastic bb's airsoft? I don't wanna buy it and end up with a metal bb gun.

  • @ItsCreatee Just shoots 4.5mm metal BB's

  • @switchingtomac thanks man, i found a co2 airsoft gun that looks like this. I was looking for a good airsoft gun.

  • Hello, since yesterday my gun shoots few bullets lika 4-6 buletts after relising my trigger, even when i load the magazine sometimes the bullets get off easly... Any chance to repair my magazine, please send me emails to viki-roy@hotmail.co.uk

Any help is acceptet, thank you very much

  • Sounds like it is more then just your magazine that may be broken?

  • i love it,Its a great gun to just go outside and unload a few clips into some bottles or a few soda cans... Great accuracy at 25 ft and like i said just a great all around little pistol to just have a little fun with...

  • How accurate is "accurate". A pop can at 25 feet?

  • @tartredarrow Easy! at 25 feet an accurate air pistol should get within 2 inches for sure.

  • I wish you had a normal version, I can't afford the recon version...

  • @MackEffects Sorry Man :(

  • but in estimate how heavy like 1lb 2lb because i want a heavy gun

  • @MultiLEE000 1.6 pounds.

  • is it heavy?

  • @MultiLEE000 It's got a good weight for its size!

  • Is the barrel rifled.

  • @jmparag No not on this one!

  • @Blackops722 no in the u.s you do not need a gun license to own a bb gun but if you are under 18 you will need a parent or someone who is at least 18 to buy the gun for you.

  • @Blackops722 Not sure about US laws? Different from State to State.

  • <
