If you really wanna hear a "If Ryan Drummond was in..." vid, PlatinumSpeed, who actually sounds the most identical to Ryan Drummond, is helping me with that. And it'll have it's "If Jason Grffith was in..." and "If Roger Craig Smith was in..." sections too for those who are fans of Jason and/or Roger as well. :) All 3 voices will say lines from games their voices have never been in. Why? Just for the fun of it! ^^

Really guys, quit bickering about who's the best voice actor for Sonic. Don't get me wrong, Ryan was an EXCELLENT voice actor, but Griffith showed some SERIOUS improvement in Unleashed. Heck, I actually enjoyed his voice in Secret Rings. Either way, both are great voice actors and there's no reason to fight over who's better.
Oh so J.Griff ruined Unleashed. I mean because Jason Griffith played Sonic the day stages weren't stages weren't so pants creaming fun, or that the werehog was real bad ass. And your Sonic still sounds more like Popeye than anything else.

Voice acting is one of my passions, i just want what i know is best for a character i used to know so well.
If you like voice acting, the Sonic series is NOT the place to find it...plus the series isn't known for its voice acting, and the reason all of them are bashing you is because this topic's pretty much dead, plus with this video you're pretty much saying "WAAAAHHH!! SONIC UNLEESH SUKS WITHOUT RYAN!" seriously, either get therapy or die.
If Sonic Unleashed had Ryan Drummond in it, there would be a lot less complaining about the overall game, and cool the entire fanbase down and just get us all to relax and focus on the gameplay.

I don't believe so necessarily. Although I do believe that Griffith is a better voice actor for the role of both Sonic and Shadow, but I also respect the opinions of those in which disagree with me. Especially those who played SA1 and SA2 prior to watching Sonic X and/or playing the newer games.
I do agree that the substance of the game is better than the style of voice acting.
Are you crazy? I played shadow the hedgehog totally ignoring there was a Sonic TV show and their voices had been used in that game, and I still found Sonic sounding exactly the same....then I freaked out to see all the drama this replacement made, merely because they were from 4kids, that's a little similar to racism to an extent...plus they just WORK for the company, they're no responsible for the edits or crappy script 4kids did, but then again all this is in the past, move on you crybaby.
There's a definite difference between their voices, to be honest; if I were to pick which *voice* fit the Sonic that appears in my head, it would probably be... well, Jaleel White, actually, 'cause I grew up on the old cartoons even before I found the games. =P

To be honest, Ryan Drummond and them were never really that great to begin with. Not to mention, you're forgetting this game includes an option to play the game with the original audio english subbed.

Now, it'd be a different story if this were a clip from '06 or Shadow, but Griffith was pretty damn good as Sonic in Unleashed.
