  • Allow us to use this awesome vid for our project :)

  • @henriquedematos Nope, I'm With You Buddy :D

  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • Am I the only one who's here for some school project?

  • 12 people didn't understand it

  • I love the great explanation of this video. I hope you don't mind that I uploaded it on my website: DeathofaGasGuzzler dotcom

  • This is cheaper than the true cost of oil.

  • hi i was wondering if i can use your video for my science project.

    plz reply. yes :p

  • @level99guys kraemer?

  • awesome

  • 10 people do not like Earth because the Earth is being drained of oil and we cant keep using oil or all of the sudden we will be stuck and collapse. We need to have stuff like geothermal and solar power and windmills, which all use things that cannot run out.

  • What i would like to know is who are toe 10 people who dislike geothermal energy. Whats wrong. Having a Energy source that is actually protects the only planet we live on not pollution filled enough for you. Aww sorry. Geothermal can power the Earths need for energy for Thousand of years without causing destruction to our Home Earth. Those 10 people are the Tyrants that couldn't careless about the survival of the human race. If it means making money for themselves. What fools they are.

  • 10 people work for oil companies

  • Thank you this will help alot with my paper at school :D!

  • @XepicmX wow im using it for my project at school too!

  • @TheAmazingRaceUSA ya some great info HEHE teacher doesnt know LOL

  • @FlareOfDawn went we start to get a decline in tirants and islamic extremists then we should. kkthxbai

  • Very cool

To see more innovative videos like this or want to share your own ideas visit ThinkStageDOTcom

  • this maybe even more ecofriendly then solar and wind combined if set up properly.

  • Great! This is exactly what I needed for my project! This was very well explained thank you! :D

  • This might actually be a good alternative energy source for coal and oil, personally, I think thermonuclear Fission is the way forward until fusion can be safley maintained. For vehicles, Hydrogen is really the only alternative unless some powerful green biofuel is developed. Aircraft could also use hydrogen or solar power.

  • 18% of world's electricity comes from geothermal energy.

  • FIRST REACTION ON YOUTUBE BITCHES YEA

  • sovateri .com

  • it's all so obvious..

  • Can I just say that unless you really work in this business (and even then sometimes) you really have no idea what you're talking about so stop and think and let the professionals do their job and no I don't work for 'them' I'm just an observer who noticed that you're making fools of yourself.

  • People should choose to invest in this not watch for oil companies to buy them over and sell it to us for the same price as we currently paying with all the labor involved that they will just let go to release expenses.

  • Big oil companies disliking videos?

  • and sent to tesla coils for free wireless energy... now that would be cool/green...

  • Canada is using this method now.

  • still want 2 drive in the ground

  • 9 people does not have Geothermal Warming....

  • Can enyone help me? How can I do in 3ds max color movement along the pipe? (in this video is red)

  • This sounds like a limited resource to. Can anyone explain how its not? most of the steam does not go back in the earth

  • @Mezgoza

If you run out of water from underground,. you can always install a closed loop system, oven a heat pipe solution.

The trick of GeoThermal energy lies in the fact that the sun and the earth's core adds to it every single day, thus it's very low pollution energy.

  • @Mezgoza The removal of the heat energy from the Earth and injection of cooler water can lead to artificial cooling of the hot rocks within the Earth. So it is effectively a non renewable resource.

  • This seems like a great idea but it is implementable everywhere? Or only in places where the earth's crust is thinner?

Even if you can only build these plants in certain areas we should be doing it NOW.

  • simple idea, we can't do it?!

    what the hell?

Do we really have to act like babes and just go " we cant do it!"

    as simple as that?!

    You know what,

lets just collect donations and build this MOTHER FU@#$ idea!

at the end, if its natural and efficient,

I don't think we will have high electric bill,

    think of it!

  • ok im just a middle school student so dont bash me, so it's looks like this is the most renewable energy source out of: Natural gas, Petroleum, Nuke energy, and hydroelectric?

  • *Efficient, sustainable, unlimited electricity would bring man kind to a whole new era of progress, neo-sapien status. No longer would people's intellectual potential be inhibited by the need to work constantly for food. This is the answer to world hunger, not your donation of $10 a month to the South American kids digging through trash as presented by some old catholic guy with white hair.

  • Geothermal energy... the potential. Unlimited energy = water desalination = unlimited fresh water + unlimited electricity = hydroponic growing of all crops year round = unlimited food. Think about how many billionaires would lose their control over their industry if unlimited electricity, water, and food were available. efficient, sustainable, unlimited electricity would bring mankind to a whole bring us to the status of neo-sapien. Poverty could be eliminated completely.

  • energy is the future, not money, politics, i think

  • @zeezo69x true but our monetary system has corrupted us...or maybe vice versa

  • yeah! more of this. oh and find out how you can recycle something and qualify it human (and all life's) safety BEFORE you release it

  • can anyone list these steps in typed format I think it would help me and a few others understand a lot better thanks :)

  • Great Video explaining a Natural Energy Resource that could generate enough electricity to power every man made machine world wide and reduce if not ELIMINATE our dependence on the Monetary Exploitation of OIL.

GEOTHERMAL ENERGY = Answer to the Energy Crisis and Global Worsening Economy!

  • Here in Brazil, there's electricity from geothermal power.

  • it will change the world

  • Anyone know where the source of information where this particular video came from????

  • Just wondering where you got the information for this video off...Need the info badly,thanks...

  • I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation (and also experimental evidence for such phenomena). I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and $3M for patents. In mass production it will cost about $1200 to make a 6 kW generator, value of the energy produced yearly $5400. H. Tomasz Grzybowski

    tel. +48-512-933-540

  • This is so cool!

  • F*** our government! Damn, I hope we'll use this brilliant energy source in the future.

  • Wait a minute, what happen to the steam when it condense back to water? let it drip into the ground again?

  • @merakhagen that is deep ground 5000 meters below. No harm to Envio.

  • hello i am 10 years old and i have to do a project on geothermal energy

  • @worldchampjeffhardy Good for you

  • @Kanshiwtf thnx

  • Very nice. Thanks for uploading the video!

  • what is your source? im doin a project on geothermal power

  • can anyone give me the text spoken in this video? :)

  • It´s two minutes of information, how lazy are you?

  • Your right they do.. We wouldn't feel it. Most man made earth quakes go unnoticed. The biggest was a 3.4. A 4.1 earthquake sounds like an explosion in the distance. It might shake a few houses causing minor damage but it wont trigger anything major. If a quake occurs they just turn off the water and the quake stops. You wouldn't it's that simple but it is.

  • Comment removed

  • Edit to last comment: You wouldn't think it was that simple but it is.

  • Thanks, I used this in my presentation to the country! Thanks again.. :))

  • very informative

  • What will happen when the magma cools too much ? The core will stop rotating ? No magnetic field which will protect us from solar bursts ?

  • true

  • You have no sense of scale.

  • Maybe...

I'm sure the creator of the 1st steam engine had no idea what means "environmental pollution".

The population at that time was 2 billions ?Or less? Now we are 6.5 billions more than 3 times for 200 years? Not bad huh? What'd be the population in 200 years? 20 billions ?

Could you imagine what amount of energy would be required then? The scale is something temporary we have to look in the far future when we do something now or our grand grand kids would be cursing us for our stupidity.

  • Comment removed

  • Man I know we must beat the oil companies. People flag your comment as spam. But it's true there is 400 estimated terrawatts of electricity below the united states. I have a source of this information if anyone wants it. A factual source. This guy is just a troll looking for a rise out of people. Advise Ignore him.

  • This little theory has been slammed down by sound science. It will not cool the core. Google your same question and you'll see the facts speak for themselves.

  • Ok even if doesn't cool the core too quickly there will be earth earthquakes.

  • So how does this apply to an individual house that's being built?

  • this is gonna help! :) thank u

  • like .. do you even realise how much energy we must consume to cool down the core ?!

that is ... impossible .. and by the way the core is cooling down anyway .. veeeeeeeeeeeeeery slowly

    so no need to worry

  • @KennethZuo

i think that is not possible, because the sun is helping the Earth maintain warn. That heat is transported to the core. this is just my theory.

  • Don't worry about that. We're not even close to affecting the core. If you imagine the Earth as an apple, then these power plants aren't even penetrating the skin around it.

You're right that in theory, we're accelerating the cooling of the planet but like constatnine states, it's nowhere near enough to make a difference, even if all or Earths energy production was geothermal. Earth is cooling down on it's own without our help. Just imagine how much heat is wasted whenever a volcano erupts.

  • this kicks ass

  • man! this helped me in my project

  • travvyg your right on the mark... idiots like catadeluxe with speeling like that will only ever wish to be right on the money

  • Australia should invest in this well least the states of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria should mostly cause that's were the population is mainly at. Then we should start the converstion to Hydrogen as a main fuel sauce so when the Oil Crysis hits the World Australia will be like "Haha suck shit" lol

  • Excellent, we have some info on geothermal energy. Check it out. more coming soon.

  • Niiice!!! but why the gouvernement don't want to use this energy who can aliment a city for a year just by working a hour??? CUZ THERE'S ABSOLUTLEY NO PROFIT ON THAT!!!

  • You're an idiot......

  • well, not that BIG profit... I didn't meant NO PROFIT AT ALL

but now, I know why this isn't that practical... tectonical pieces always move... the pipes in the ground will break... so you need a new hole, whjo's costly... now, there's your NO PROFIT AT ALL

  • Well, I wasn't really saying that because of your no profit comment... Mainly your spelling mistakes as well as your , " I know everything" attitude. Tectonical isn't a word, but nice try. That is true,TECTONIC plates are always in motion, however only along concentrated areas such as faults and subduction zones. There are many areas where the pipes would be safe for a long time (over a lifetime). Same basic principle as extracting oil and that seems to be working just fine all around the world.

  • nice

  • U.S. Geothermal Inc. = HTM

if you're an investor, it could pay off. and the stock is on fire this week.

  • economic/monetary collapse is the first step to a cleaner brighter future: Watch Zeitgeist! :)

  • well said mate and hope it's going to happend without any kind of civil war

  • not gonna happen...who will buy coal, oil and nuclear power then?

  • wwat are people talking about? we need to use wind and solar this does not rely on wind or the sun and is therefore better, at night time does solar still create electricity? no it doesnt. in geothermal all of fluids used are recycled back into the earth once they have spun the turbine therefore it is not going to "deplete" almost all forms of energy use some sort of turbine to work. this recycling works because once the steam as spun the wheel it cools and turns back to water and is pumped down

  • The clean green!

  • usefull

  • its not rocket science, just gota get the pin heads in gongress to get their minds off the coal.

but then when this is in power black gold will vanish and THEY wont let that happen

  • they arent pinheads, they all are perfectly aware of this, and if it wasnt for the internet i dont think most of us would know, why? it doesnt bring that much of a profit

  • they arent pinheads, they all are perfectly aware of this, and if it wasnt for the internet i dont think most of us would know, why? it doesnt bring that much of a profit.MIT already recommended this form of energy in 2007,just google it

  • why can't you build it ? entrepreneurs need to build this, not the government the government does not have the resource, business can build this and then sub-let it to the power board. Or the government can give tender notice, at the end of the day it has to be private company that builds these not governments.

  • yes but the government can fund it.

but there is no way that they are going to. as it threatens the oil industry.

  • They are not pin heads in government, they knew all about the potential of this back in the 90's.

Unfortunately the reason they wont push it is because its too efficient. When you close a coal power plant for one of these babies think of the knock on effect. No coal miners, no transport of the coal, No building of and maintenance of machines that work in the mine, even the tyres on the vehicles. Thats a lot of jobs

Unfortunately because we are slaves to the monetary system this wont be pushed

  • yea, that too. 4

and sadly there is no way to change things or at least nothing that the general public would accept

  • That is why we should start supporting the "Venus Project" by Jacque Fresco

  • @djguy100 They are pin heads BECAUSE were slaves to the monetary system

  • @djguy100 Your right. And we could have a resource based economy like the Venus Project proposes, but big oil, the rich and the government puppets are not gonna go for it because they won't be able to have slave to work and serve them anymore. We would have real freedom. Unfortunately the Venus Project is labeled as socialism/communism and evil.Youtube for "zeitgeist addendum". And in a few weeks the video "zeitgeist: Moving Forward" will be out on-line for free.

  • @djguy100 Yea these goys who lose jobs are then able to do more important jobs. Like research for new technologies etc. :)

  • @djguy100 I couldn't have said it better myself.

There is enough geothermal energy to power the entire world, but it will never happen in a monetary economy.

  • @djguy100 I concur....Put another record on,homie....You need a megaphone!LOL>.<

  • This pleases me:)

  • @SoldierCyfix The people are always more powerful than the established institutions. If enough people demanded that we spent our public funding to build geothermal power plants, it would be done.

Sadly, most people are uneducated and complacent towards the system that is screwing them over. People who are aware of positive alternatives such as these have to be much more proactive in spreading the knowledge and taking action.

  • great vid. simple and easy to figure out

  • No proszę.

A w Polsce pełno tumanów, którzy za "Michnische Beobachter" mówią o o.Rydzyku i jego wielomilionowej armii słuchaczy "ciemnogród".

Okazuje się, że jest wręcz odwrotnie!

Rydzyk promuje nowe, niedorozwinięte w Polsce technologie.

  • No, please.

And in full tumanów who "Michnische Beobachter" and talk about his multi-o.Rydzyku army of listeners' ciemnogród ".

It turns out that it is on the contrary!

Rydzyk promotes new technologies niedorozwinięte in Poland.

  • goed

  • you helped me with my physics project, thanks

  • so this is exactly like wind energy, only a longer process and the same outcome. if you use steam in order to push the blades in the turbine. it is exactly like using wind. because you also use a turbine, this is a longer and more complex way of producing energy. but i guess we need all we can get so i am glad we have this at our exposure, so if one energy fails we have another to replace it

  • It's understandable that you see the similarities. Almost all forms of power plants revolve around turbine technology. Oil and coal plants burned their fuel to heat up water which turned turbines. Nuclear plants heats water to turn turbines. Geothermal plants uses steam to turn turbines. Windmills turn turbines. Hydroelectric plants uses water pressure to turn turbines. Even the joke where a guy on a converted exercise bike produced electricity for Uncle Scrooge was based on turning turbines.

  • actually geothermal is the best source of renewable energy because it can be done at all times with almost no variations in sustainability... so technology improves toward geothermal energy and we can use it near an underground outlet from an river or ocean it would almost never run out

  • my older brother works in geothermal energy

  • wats it like? does he like it?

  • pls can u give details of the company ?

  • Clean and should be free for every one!

  • is there a subtitle somewhere? i need it...

  • Is it true that the fluid from This energy is corrosive? if yes why?

  • Yes. An example is Sulfur.

  • Their's a few major problems with Geothermal energy that this video doesn't adress.

  • pls name them

  • Nah, I don't want to. You're going to have to figure them out yourself. I'm not a teacher nor do I wish to enter into an unbeneficial debate (on my side), so I'll be on my way now.

    K take care.

  • werichanel

  • thanks for this vid

really helped me with my homework.

gonna be sharing it to some friends :D

  • heh same here

  • Same here too!

  • me too! :D

  • me too ;)

  • If only more people knew about it...

  • I'd like to embed this video in my energy blog. Would that be okay?

  • Geotgermal energy can be used almost anywhere

(do not need gezer or vulcano) you just must drill deeper under ground.

  • With only the use of Geothermal energy we could power the entire world for 4000 years without having to burn any fossiles. And imagine what tidal, solar and wind energy can do.

  • Check out Enhanced Geothermal Systems. The concept suggests that geothermal energy can be harnessed in areas with no volcanic or seismic activity, which traditionally have been the only areas to produce the means of extracting geothermal energy.

  • Geothermal energy is used by just, about a dozen countries. And there's about 200 countries in the world.

  • That's Great.
