  • This is an implement for sowing grain crops. The seed is carried in the seed box at the top of the machine. The seed is metered out and falls down the tubes to the back of the tines. The tines (soil engaging parts) are placing the seeds under the soil, and the press wheels are pressing the seeds into the moist soil.

    The original prototype was made in Australia as part of a foreign aid project. There are units working in Bangladesh, Cambodia and Lao PDR. There is now limited production in Bangladesh and we are hoping that other manufacturers may be interested.

    There is a 20 minute video and brochure available to those interested on request.

    Australian made seed drill $US3500 each.

    Bangladeshi made seed drill $US500.
