  • gay but cool at same time the titanic broke in half and cool as in model

  • wut happened to the 2nd funnel?

  • Comment removed

  • Um how long did it take you to make that?

  • @MasterVideoStudios

    bout a month

  • Nice model :D looks just like the one from the movie

  • nice job on the titanic it is spot on

  • What did you mix in with the white paint to give it a rustic look?

  • @SuperTerminatrix

i just used a beige coloured paint

  • oh look at that at 2:04 is where jack and rose met hahaha

  • did you have to build it

  • @perokeful

    yes

  • how long is it

  • Great job on the model, especially the bent railings and #2 funnel wreckage. Those ventilators they added to the fo'c'sle for this movie were heinous, weren't they?

  • Did you know that terrorists sank titanic?Oh yea and next year would be right 100 years after titanic sinking!

  • where did you find this model?

  • they'll never raise her..except in pieces....now if they want to raise a ship..bismark would be a challenge..especially since she's a warship with explosives still onboard

  • where is the 2nd funnel?

  • @A1bz1 Stolen!Or maybe White Star Line couldnt afford to build 2nd funnel!

  • @LegoTeletubbie No the funnel broke off

  • Nice model. I was planning on starting my own conversion from a 1:400 Academy kit. Can I ask what modifications you made and how you did them? I have no idea where to start on the two added derricks.

  • what color did you use for the funnels

  • is this basically the titanic being reborn ?

  • THAT WIL NEVER EVER EVER EVER HAPPEN RAISING HER

  • THAT WIL NEVER EVER EVER EVER HAPPEN RAISING HER

  • hahahaha. I like how you painted the boat deck all brown LOL

  • you can bid on one on ebay

  • was this model from Revell?

  • yes

  • Nightwish - Sleeping sun

  • The song is by Nightwish it's called Sleeping sun.

  • i love the song to this video great stuff

  • Nice laptop, but the pretty model of the ship keeps blocking the view of it!

  • TOO SMALL.

  • too small for what?

its fairly big, how big do you want it...? :S

  • 5.5 ft. heheheheh lol... just messin wit yah.... btw... did you made that?? coz if you did.... you did an awesome job!

  • lol, il get onto revell, see if they do one that size :P

    yeah i did, thanks :D

  • ive seen a photo behind the scenes of raise the titanic... and i've seen the ship they made to raise... its really huge... like a small boat... like 4 kids can ride on it...

  • yeh iv seen it also

it cost like half the films budget.

    what a flop lol

atleast they got some money for it when brian smith used it in Britannic (2000)

  • @1999UTD What do you mean when it was used as a britannic in 2000?

The original movie model was used in 1992 in a war movie as a britannic, was painted over from one side.

  • @TheRMSAndre1

the model used in Raise the Titanic was used for computer capturing in order to digitally recreate the Britannic for the film in 2000

  • @1999UTD How do you know that? Thats very interesting information. I wonder if the RTT historian Jonathan Smith knows that?

  • Where can I buy a Titanic what is already been down in 1:200 size?

  • Forgot to add, its me, Jonno71, but under my new YT channel name for RTT.

  • Nice replica

  • The music is way Awesome!! "Nightwish": great singer

  • where did you get the model from?

  • amazon..... :S

    cnt remember tbh

  • Cool model. I'm currently working on a 1:400 Revell Titanic. It's a beautiful kit.

  • its ok

id rather have the minicraft version, thats much more accurate. unfortunately though its much more expensive

  • the titanic spilt in two duh.

  • try reading the description,

or even reading the info in the first 30 seconds of the video

  • They didn't know that until 5 years after making this film when Dr. Robert Ballard and his team found the real wreck.

  • Is that what Titanic would look like if it was raised and in one piece after being in the bottom of the ocean this long?

If so that would be incredible!!!!!

  • it would be incredible but sadly not true. the film-makers had no idea what the ship looked like.

even if she was in one piece it would be impossible to raise her, simpley because of a centuries worth of rust and decay.

  • no dumbass try looking it up on youtube or even better, look in a childrens book with pictures

  • Thanks for your positive feed back.

  • you should build an accurate model of the titanic!!!

  • is that sarcastic?

coz if you check my channel i have

  • no!

i wasnt, i just stating that you could make a GREAT model of the real one!!!

    ill go check it out!!

    Sorry!

  • yea i noticed their was a lot of differences in the movies ship and the real one

  • nice work but pint is wrong .. but very nice :)

  • pint?

    explain

  • sorry paint :)

  • ok,

    hows it wrong?

  • THIS IS GOOD REAlly liked it BUILD MORE SHIPS

  • i try to

they cost alot of make though

and take up alot of time

il do another in the summer sometime

  • thank artist for your work

  • I really enjoyed Clive Cussler's novel. But I didn't like it the filmmakers left out the storm sequence (which I blame the cheap budgett) and Dirk Pitt's sidekick Al Giordino. Too bad Cussler did not like the film. I would've to see "Night Probe" and "Deep Six" being turned into a movie.

  • Actually this movie cost $30 million dollars to make which was a huge amount at the time.

  • Yeah it even cost more "The Empire Strikes Back." I remember "Raise the Titanic went over budget explaining why it was so high. But the filmmakers did film the original in which the Titanic sinks. It feature the shot of the second funnel falling to port. For some reason due to budget reasons, they only shot the cutscenes of the Titanic model sinking. They decided not to film the actors in the intro. But the unused Titanic clip was feature in the TV show "Voyager."

  • the unusued sinking sequence was also used in the Britannic Film

  • That sequence is interesting in that the model doesn't have the changes that were made in order to make it match the ship the "Titanic" facade was built onto.

  • what song is this? really good

  • sleeping sun by Nightwish

  • sleeping sun by nightwish

  • The Name Of This Song Is Sleeping Sun

  • the rivets, as they were called in them deays, was weakened when they were being heated up to form shape and size

  • the movie was made 5 years before they found the titanic,so many people thought it didn't brake in two.

  • yes it was. But surely they would of known that it split in two because of the survivors stories and the fact that the wreck was finally found 73 years later

  • correct

people also believed that the icy cold water and extreem pressure would preserve the ship

  • The movie was made 5 years before the actual R.M.S Titanic was actually found. As has been stated many times, the ship is in 2 pieces at the bottom of the atlantic (2 mikles down!). The stern section is a mile away from the bow, and it is the stern section that is the most heavily damaged.

  • correct

  • what's the name of the song??

  • sleeping sun by nightwish

  • ive never seen raise the titanic but why hav all 3 funnels with oly 1 snapped

  • the producers thought that it wouldnt look like titanic rasing from the water without the funnels

  • NIce

  • Yeah. I think the movie was made before the ship was found . But that is what I think. And now with the Titanic found, everyone was happy when they found her. But they hope to build the new Titanic 2 or raise the Titanic and reconstruct her before she is just iron ore in the future.

  • titanic 2 or titanic 2000 was in initial pre-consumption planning to be a real ship and floating museum to titanic, but was scrapped VERY early in production due to heavy protest. titanic cannot be raised

  • Raise The Titanic is what I know based on a fictional story. Titanic broke in half somewhere between 2:15 and 2:20 on april 15,1912. But they tried to planned that when they found her in 1986 or 1985. When they found her the Stern of Titanic was missing when they found it away from the main wreck. but I got to say, great model! just like the ship in the film Raise the Titanic

  • thanks

its amazing how they thought she might have looked before they actually found her.

  • That reminds me. . . I must get some photos posted up here on YouTube of the replica I built back in 2003.

1999UTD, did you use any of the images I supplied for the 2007 dvd release?.

  • if you mean the photos in the link you gave me i did yeh.

i used them as reference for my model, thats why i mentioned ya

  • Sorry, I didn't notice that. Thank you :)

  • hmm nie złe

  • nice you did a great job

  • God dam fuck, you have the same computer as me :)

  • i remeber that my model titanic was from academy plastic models in 1/400 scale but revell has there model titanic in a different scale

  • you mean it was a different size?

mine is deff 1:400. iv had 3 of em lol
