the skinnies aren't bugs which is why they didnt go crazy when the brain bug got blasted. maybe the reason the bugs didnt go nuts cos it wasnt quite dead yet or there was another one on the planet. or maybe the writers just missed it

i wish it was more like the book, the power suits were bigger, with mobile jet boosters, and they were incredibly stronge, could crush a bug or a skinny

Yeah but in the book there is less character interaction, and the storyflow is more built toward making war look heroic and something to be apart of while this covers more upon the apprehension and humanization of human soldiers, while still keeping it in line for a morning cartoon for kids.
