I've heard Sarah' Chang's version. Hers had a more rich sound. But Janine's version has joy, energy and vitality, especially this 3rd movement. Actually both violinists have brought, not just justice but also, life to this piece. Janine, to me, gave it more.

It's not the left hand that impresses me, when I watch her play, but her right arm. It's ferocious! WOW!

Also I really think one can feel the way SHE feels the music, she does an awesome job of putting her feelings/ interpretation in the music.

She should have been maybe a shade bit gentler to this piece... she really hacked up some parts of it-- but this is still my favorite version. She's awesome

Shes great...but this is a bit sloppy. I like Maxim Vengerov's verison. But her Tchaikovsy and Mendelssohn are amazing!

I`m not a fan of Bruch, but decided to give this performance a glance and ended up listening to the entire thing. Bravo, Janine! She could play friggin lady gaga and I would still listen. :)

El virtuosismo de esta mujer es indiscutible, ahora bien, los momentos o pasajes dulces los hace moderados y los fuertes los hace en ocasiones violentos. También la obra es llevada por parte de la dirección demasiado rápida, en un tercer movimiento donde he escuchado versiones que se acercan a los 7,50 minutos y que me parecen más ajustadas en tempo y dentro de la fuerza que caracteriza la obra. En cualquier caso la holandesa Janine Jansen es una genialidad y esta versión fantástica.
