It's kinda nice to see that people are still keeping an interest in the story, some of these comments (including mine, lol) are fairly recent. At the same time though, it feels so long ago since all this happened. I know it was early last year, but Hollyoaks has changed so much in a short amount of time.

I know. I stopped watching it around the end of September. None of the storylines really appealed to me anymore and they were making such a mess of all the teenagers. Besides, i found a much cuter yet much more smutty lil thing called Queer As Folk hehehehe

I think the last good thing Hollyoaks did was Hannah/Justin and they screwed that up tremendously even by soap-standards. Hollyoaks Later 2008 was good stuff, but from then on it just began to go a bit weird. HO has had some good times this year but there have been better.

I know what you mean. After Justin left... Things started happening... Strange things. They kind of turned it into a supernatural show or something cause it just became so completely unrealistic at points.

I though Sarah/Lydia was VERY strange - just came out of nowhere. With JP/Craig, the writers put all their energy into it but with these two - no effort at all.

I get what you mean. They just kind of thought, girl without much of a part right now - lesbian. What do you say we pair them off? Besides, everyone kind of said Sarah was a lesbian after that, but she was technically bisexual. She didn't just go from liking guys to liking girls. She had always liked girls, she just needed to test it out. You could tell that JP was never really into girls, therefore gay. I know it's a random detail but it just annoys me sometimes.

I just couldn't help thinking that the whole thing was a bit of a cynical ratings-grabber and altogether a little pointless, given Lydia's sudden suicidal character turnaround; she was supposed to be a feisty female, but instead she's just pathetic. I couldn't help feeling the whole thing was an experimental fling on Sarah's part, unleashed by the night she spent with Zoe.

JP and K might have moved a little bit fast but the writers put in a lot more effort compared to Sarah/Lydia.
