I've had a couple of 80's on wow and it gets extremely boring, OP's rule pvp and raids get extremely annoying and fail when someone or the other ditches. I don't know why thier PvE is supposedly good, it takes at least 10 days of your life at minimum to get to lvl 80. No fair pvp is the worst thing that's possible. A Death Knight can litteraly crit you for 12k health with a single skill.... it's really no fun, and you've got no descisions.. i vote warhammer

not really but they have unique classes that change the appearence of the race. They may have more classes but if u think about it...they are alll the same just different names and looks
Warhammer has a lot more races than are feature in War online. Probably because they are saving them for the future expansions. The difference between Blizzard and Mythic: Blizzard owns Warcraft so they can play around with the story and add more races however they like. And Warhammer Online has to stick to Warhammer by Games Warkshop.

Yea PvP gets a revamp in Wrath of the Lich King, including siege warfare. RvR in WAR is nice though, and the PvP aspect seems to be pretty good. Honestly questing, it's very hard to distinguish the type of questing in any MMO honestly, I don't think WAR's is greater than WoW's particularly, but that's not saying WoW's quests are super fun. Meh since WAR isn't even out yet, it's really early to judge tbh, but I don't think it'll kill WoW, just be a great competitor.
The good mmorpg all charges monthly fees. You can't get away with a good mmorpg without paying some kind of fee. If you can't afford monthly fees, just get a newspaper route. :P Monthly fees is dirt cheap. Just stop spending your money on every games that comes out and stick to one.

Try Guild Wars Eye of the North. There is a very nice pack which comes with the first base game and the Eye of the North expansion for around the same price a game card costs in WoW or other MMO's. The game is very different from other MMO's, but imo give it a chance if you do not want to pay for a subscription. I really see your point, it feels stupid to pay for something over and over, but that's just the way it is.
WAR will destroy WoW. yes WoW did have an MMO before Warhammer but warhammer has been around longer and could learn off of WoW strength's and weaknesses its the new generation.
I have pre-ordered and signed up for open beta coming sept 6. I have been watching every vid I could get my eyes on all day and so far I have come to the conclusion that this game is going to be fucking sick! lol. World of warcraft shows absolutely no diversity among the look of the races. all the armor, combat mechanics and even attacks are identical to the other factions classes. WAR is the exact opposite of that. They even threw in armor dying to make it even more diverse. I say thums up WAR!
Warhammer has a lot of similarities to WoW and a LOT of differences. If you've only ever played WoW when it comes to MMOs, than I would just suggest that you try Warhammer out with the expectation that it will be very different.
That being said, I believe this Warhammer will replace WoW for me... Finally.
Blizzard stole everything from GW. One of GW's old creative content heads now works for blizzard. Blizzard has nothing unique and rip off pretty much everything.
crafting system in war is kinda rediculous. choose between TWO crafting skills, lol! you get spammed with tons of equipment in war but it does hardly make a difference (compared to wow) i'm not sure if this is good. makes auction houses worthless.
2 crafting and 4 gathering. But WoW had a beta too. And if im correct a lot of people wernt happy with most of it. But at least WAR isnt gear based like WoW
and while wow have the same same classes for most of its races war has unique classes every single race.besides that a human and an undead warrior in wow have the same abilities and are nearly identical to play a tank on the order or destruction side of war has completely different skills. that adds so much more diversity to that game.
i think WAR is the next logical progression from WOW in terms of the MMO genre. WOW is focused on group PvE - large raid content, raid specced gear etc. in terms of PvP, WOW only added battlegrounds to satisfy those who wanted group/raid PvP without putting strain on the servers which were not really designed to accomodate it. WAR has infinitely deepened the group PvP aspect, n fits the niche left open by WOW.
For the battlegrounds, war has em ALOT, and they are huge. Pvp is everywhere, and tough warhammer has the inside addons calendar, customizable ui and everything inside, no addons needed, keeps, and mass rvr 100 vs 100, and lots more.

few important things i think you missed:
WoW = 9 classes, WAR = 20 classes
WoW = 4 Battlegrounds, War = 20-22 scenarios (battlegrounds)
WAR has city sieging (actually taking over the other factions cities) WoW does not
WAR has a working achievement system and the ToK, WoW is working on putting it in in the expansion, might not even work, we'll see
P.S. I do not LOVE WAR, or HATE WoW, i am currently playing WAR, but played WOW for 4 years, U do not have it out for WoW.

WAR will destroy WoW. yes WoW did have an MMO before Warhammer but warhammer has been around longer and could learn off of WoW strength's and weaknesses its the new generation.

I have pre-ordered and signed up for open beta coming sept 6. I have been watching every vid I could get my eyes on all day and so far I have come to the conclusion that this game is going to be fucking sick! lol. World of warcraft shows absolutely no diversity among the look of the races. all the armor, combat mechanics and even attacks are identical to the other factions classes. WAR is the exact opposite of that. They even threw in armor dying to make it even more diverse. I say thums up WAR!

Warhammer has a lot of similarities to WoW and a LOT of differences. If you've only ever played WoW when it comes to MMOs, than I would just suggest that you try Warhammer out with the expectation that it will be very different.
That being said, I believe this Warhammer will replace WoW for me... Finally.

Blizzard stole everything from GW. One of GW's old creative content heads now works for blizzard. Blizzard has nothing unique and rip off pretty much everything.

crafting system in war is kinda rediculous. choose between TWO crafting skills, lol! you get spammed with tons of equipment in war but it does hardly make a difference (compared to wow) i'm not sure if this is good. makes auction houses worthless.

2 crafting and 4 gathering. But WoW had a beta too. And if im correct a lot of people wernt happy with most of it. But at least WAR isnt gear based like WoW

and while wow have the same same classes for most of its races war has unique classes every single race.besides that a human and an undead warrior in wow have the same abilities and are nearly identical to play a tank on the order or destruction side of war has completely different skills. that adds so much more diversity to that game.

i think WAR is the next logical progression from WOW in terms of the MMO genre. WOW is focused on group PvE - large raid content, raid specced gear etc. in terms of PvP, WOW only added battlegrounds to satisfy those who wanted group/raid PvP without putting strain on the servers which were not really designed to accomodate it. WAR has infinitely deepened the group PvP aspect, n fits the niche left open by WOW.

For the battlegrounds, war has em ALOT, and they are huge. Pvp is everywhere, and tough warhammer has the inside addons calendar, customizable ui and everything inside, no addons needed, keeps, and mass rvr 100 vs 100, and lots more.
