Very nice capture. Some interferences, something slides over the romanian signal sometimes, maybe the hungarian station, coming from same direction but it's really OK. It reminds me of that bad period of comunism in Romania with only TVR and 2-3 hours every day, dedicated only to Ceausescu. I was an adolescent, so I still remember. Anyway, maybe the capture is from a strong opening in late 80's. If it was in R2, it can be Turnu Severin or Bucharest (very high power). Congratulations

WOW. During this recording u can hear the sound carrier of MTV (Hungarian TV).

What is the channel? It must be R1 or R2. btw have you got longer recording from TVR? Including the NEWS.

now is see, R2. the tx is maybe TURNU-SEVERIN. In 2006 romanians has been closed all transmitters in VHF1 band :(

deci se vede k semnalul era f prost, cu puricei multzi, cu valurile alea care le facea muzica (un pic creepy dupa parerea mea :D), parca interfereaza cu un alt post de TV sau radio...

Hm, the tune is the Albanian athem...which was composed by Romanian composer Ciprian Porumboiu... A fost schimbat Hora Unirii pentr-o alta melodia in anii 80?

Nu a fost schimbata Hora Unirii! Hora Unirii se difuza doar la sfarsitul programului! In clip este inceputul programului la TVR, probabil dupa 1985,: mira, imnul RSR si apoi imnul FDUS (Pe-al nostru steag e scris unire).

Porumbescu's song is "The flag of our union is written" but in the communist years, became the anthem with lyrics changed Socialist Democracy and Unity Front - a communist invention
