Shark Fans, ignore all of the Vancouver fans saying you choked. Last I knew, Vancouver lost 4-0 in a game 7. Refresh my memory, what series was that again Canuck fans?
The canucks 40 year franchise doesn't have a Stanley cup. So does that mean they've choked for 40 years? We can same about you. Every team has there year. Sharks are half as old as the "canucks" and they're doing great the past few years. You can argue that they choked and yea we didn't make it all the way, but neither did the red wings, the penguins or the blackhawks. None whom made it to the conference finals. Like a said. Every team has its year. Don't be ignorant.
@arnieponce the canucks also dont dominate the regular season almost every year and then lose in the playoffs and how are you going to even use a red wings comparison? They are arguably the most successful franchise in all of sports. It took the blackhawks 3 years to win a cup(recent years) with their core players and same with the penguins. The Sharks have had their core together for awhile now and have been working on that for probably the last 7 or 8 years.

@phoon420 not true. You think that when the Lakers and Kings played in the conference final in 02, the Lakers won but the refs bet on the game for the Kings to lose. You dont think people paid attention to that? Also quit saying the Sharks choked they made it the conference final again for a 2nd yr in a row. Its def a major step forward compared to the early exits they used to have.
in the end they lost... noone looks at who should have won... they look at the final result and the final result was the sharks lose in the playoffs once again, just like every year. At least they got 2nd in the regular season though right? hahahahaha
@phoon420 When you look at what the Sharks have dealt with, with all the injuries the had like Thornton playing with a separated shoulder and broken pinky, Heatley playing with a broken hand etc, with the team finding a way to pull off the series win over the Wings, with them outplaying the Canucks almost every game and just running into a hot goalie, it shows that they did NOT choke, that they have a lot of heart, that they dont deserve to be out, and that they deserve to win.
@danynumero6 okay with all that said they still did not win.... its not based off of who should of won or what should have happened... it went to 5 games and the canucks beat them... no matter what you say, the end result is they lost and everyone will hear the same stuff next year "this is the year!" Good teams make their own breaks and they find a way to win... which clearly the sharks did not do

I'm not trying to say one team is more injured than the other. But the bottom line is, if it wasnt for Luongo the Canucks wouldve been eliminated a long time ago.
