@XmetaI4everX No it wont be the same. Just have one game where you kill the Colossus then have anther game where you do the same thing BUT get all the lizards. You'll see a HUGE difference. (no pun intended)

@MochiccinoWuvsCoffee: It's quicker to kill all the Colossi than to hunt down all the lizards and it's got the same benefits since you can reload your game. The only time lizards come in handy is if you have really low stamina in the early part of the game but it's still quicker for me to kill a Colossus.

Beating all of the colossi increases your stamina and health but most of that stamina was increased by finding and eating lizards. Health is increased by fruit.

@FireontheHorizon15 when you hunt white tails, you always find them at shrines and they just barely make your stamina go up, but also, to increase your health, look up in trees and and you'll see fruit, shoot it down and eat it.

Last time I played I started my way up there and after a good amount of time and toil, I got pretty far up there up. Somewhere near the end though, I had to come to the sad realization that I wouldn't quite be able to hold on long enough to get there... yeah, that's why i haven't played in a while.

if you beat colossi, your stamina (and health) goes up.

@tortuga320 If you mean "How is your Stamina bar so big?" then that's an easy one, just go to those small temple thingys where you can save, somewhere on the walls of that small temple are lizards with a white/silver tail, kill the lizard, & eat the tail, & you're stamina bar gets bigger.

This is a great game. But in the end, disappointing. Every time I play it, or watch one of these videos, I keep expecting to find out some insane secret, but there really are none. This is the biggest secret in the game, and there's nothing to do once you get there.

Diagonal jump glitch. Easy to perform.

Hold R1 on moss or something while climbing up, and hold triangle, but put the analog stick in a diagonal direction, then let go of triangle and press it. Barely and stamina goes Very helpful. DO NOT LET GO OF R1 or you will fall and die.

@televition56 sometimes if you go back to any save shrine after killing a first lizard, a second one will appear. you can also look around the world map since white tailed lizards are scattered all over the area. Plus, killing the colossi gives you stamina

I remember playing this game all day and not stopping. This was a good game. It's not the cliche 'We all live happily ever after', which is a nice change, a heart-wrenching change. I had good memories with this game, like how I was stuck on that one underwater colossus because I thought we weren't supposed to go in the water. Then my friend comes along and beats it for me.

If you look at 2:26, there's a bush. You can climb up there as long as you hold R1, and regain all the stamina you lost, giving you enough to get up there with even a small stamina circle!

As all can see, this diagonal jump performed on this video is a way of jumping without wasting so much stamina. With this jump, you can reach the gardens without killing a single colossi! However, this bug was removed in the PAL version... T_T

There really aren't many links to Ico in SotC.

@TeamReptileStudios you have to chase the buggers and either shoot them with your bow or slice them with your sword. when they die you pick them up with the circle button for a miniscule amount of grab!

@scavenger510 Yeah, I discovered that a minute after posting the comment xD However, you CAN also shoot their tails, wich makes them drop their tail and run away. This way, you can eat the tail of the same lizard every time they grow back, its d@mn difficult though xD (managed to do it twice)

This is gonna sound silly... but... well... the colossi corrupt you yes? and you cant get up there without lots of stamina right? So the programmers obviously wanted this, and the colossi give you more health and what not, but those fruit decrease it? Also you cant leave the forsaken land because your apparently so corrupted? (or so some say.)... what if you eat all the fruit until your health goes back to normal? Could you leave and unlock a different ending? (my theory)

this game is such a mind fuck, theres miles of land and no one to talk to or any where to go except the colossi, and the one secret they do put in the game is not in some obscure location, its in the place where you begin each time, in the center of the map, and then when you get to the secret area, theres nothing to do but look at it, lol damn makes you feel like theyr fucking with you, but watever this game is one of my favorite games ever.
