@pwrlifter69 haah you don't now a shit a bout cameras. not any pocket camera under 250 USD can make better videos than the zi6, and i bought this one for 90USD. the problem here is that the pc of this guy is really crappy, so it could be able to encode it in.. around 8fps? lol .. it can do excellent 60fps 720p videos, check other test videos! maybe 2 years after you own one now? :P

The Kodak Zi6 doesn't drop frames, it lowers the shutter speed below 1/60th of a second to something like 1/30th or 1/15 and that causes the frames to blur between each other because of the longer exposure time. it is still recording every frame.

You can see the same effect on any DV camcorder that has a manual control for the shutter speed. Just lower it below 1/60 and you'll see the same effect. Also, some camcorders have a low light mode where it does the same thing.

I heard this to until I tried it and it only really drops frames in low light conditions. As long as you have enough light you should be fine. It works for me. I don't any videos up though yet.

I put it on the tripod that the Zi6 came with and then duct taped it on the dash as close to the window as I could
