Thanks! I find the flashing useful though, since it changes through grey to orange to green (as the worst timing you've got goes from fantastic to wonderful to great, respectively). There's nothing more annoying than thinking you've passed a song with an AAA score only to see on the results screen that there's 1 "Great" which you didn't notice getting in the gameplay (it's kinda rare for me to get AAA). =/

Although I've never used CS2 - do you mean it does this too but without the flashing?

I've been using 2 hands for quite some time now. ;)

My timing's still more accurate with 1 hand, though, because I can't keep my 2 hands in perfect sync with each other. >_<

I've almost managed an AAAA on a simple simfile (which consists mainly of just a jump on each beat, and a few holds) - just 1 "Wonderful", as CyberiaStyle 4 calls them - although only with 1 hand.

However, this simfile is too complex for me to pass with an AAA with only one hand (I'd certainly miss at 1:27 and 1:38).

Would you reccomend a place to seek out stepmania files that are meant for people who play on mats or on keyboards that doesn't support multiple direction keypresses at the same time? I download my favourite songs only to discover that they are waaay to difficult to play on a dancemat or uses 3-4 arrows at a time.

Although many keyboards fail to recognise more than 2 arrows being pressed at once (my current keyboard fails too), virtually every keyboard has a certain few keys which can be recognised all together (a maximum of 6 for USB keyboards, excluding Ctrl/Shift/Alt). There is normally a bunch of 4 keys in the same kind of shape as the arrow keys which will all work at once. On my keyboard, J, K, I and L work together. On my old keyboard, L, semicolon, P and apostrophe worked together. I recommend ...

... that you go into StepMania's "Test Input" screen (on the main Options screen). This screen lists all keys currently being pressed (and their control assignments). Try different combinations of 4 keys arranged in the shape of the arrow keys, pressing all 4 at once and watching StepMania's display of what keys are currently pressed. You're bound to find a combination which works (one which lets StepMania see that all 4 keys are being pressed), unless, possibly, you're using a very old laptop).

@granskare: Really? Are you sure it's not just the background video for the simfile playing? (I had the background's brightness set to only 10% because it was unusually distracting.) There are other videos where you can see me in full, though (at least, how I looked a couple of years ago). ;)
