im not the only one who relizes that ender's game and shattered are alot alike except for the "evil" (technecly they were only protecting them selvesgo ender for saving the queen egg) alien horde.

@ZaliasoO Either you mean radio waves or I have no idea what you're talking about. Sound travels through matter. So if you bang your helmet against a rock or something, you'd hear it. Other wise you can't hear indirect sound as there's no matter in between. Space is the absence of matter. Like gaz and water.

I know they say there's air in outer space, like on average about an atom per square mile. But that can't make our kind of sound spread.

The inside of objects aren't "space".

lol seems like in order to run this, i need a higher end gaming computer, i have pretty much the same specs, beside the cpu, anyone have any idea how this would run on 2.9 ghz dual core?

@BubuskusAlt Meh. SH takes advantage of quad rigs, but it still runs pretty decent at lower resolutions on my other dual core. AA kills SH's fps. I quit playing until I upgrade my GPU next month.

Hmmm looks like there isnt much to the game. But i like how its a new idea and decent graphics. Gameplay looks great! But it lacks features doesnt it? Like customizations ect. BTW for anyone who wants to buy it, its up for $5 USD on steam for another 2 hours. lols

Your space suit simulates it. Which is why when his suit is off, starts at about 2:40 you can't hear any.

@lyylove50 air aint the only thing transmiting the sound and IN THE GAME it is said to be simulation of sounds. In silent mode you dont hear other people shooting.

I know it's not bad right? Some maps that have man made objects (ships, space station, etc...) have some jaggies to them.

When I upgrade my card this coming Spring (or whenever Nvidia releases GT300 line) I hope to max this baby out.

Without fraps about 30fps. Depends on the map. Some are heavy on rigs. That 285 will work great!
