I will never visit the World Trade Center again. It is ashame that we could not rebuild the Twin Towers. Besides too many people died. So there is nothing there to see anymore after 9/11. The Freedom Tower is a build that is payed for by the politicians. They ignored the public when 93% of the people wanted the Twin Towers rebuilt.
@ThDubya You're welcome. I am happy to be an American. The beauty of the United States is that our original Constitution is the only one of its kind that is supposed to give us limited government freedom of speech & freedom to bear arms. I don't know of any other constitutions that begin its preamble with "We the People."
Ironically, I am a native of Syracuse, New York, which is located in the middle of the state. I haven't lived there since early July 1995, but it is still my home town.
Thdubya, thank-you for this video. It is very well put together. It made me cry, proud to be American, and joyous to know that we have an ally such as Norway. God Bless the U.S.A and Norway, which are, without a doubt, two of the best nations on earth!
I don't think it would be much of a difference. Most modern skyscrapers have the same fragile design with the inner core and outer plating. ESB and the other buildings from the depression era might have survived the attacks, but I doubt that any glass and steel based ones could.
man, when the aircraft crashed the South Tower, you can see many derbis on fire flying everywhere, on the freedom tower this does't happens, cuz thosse derbis can hit someone on the street and cause more fatalities, think about it
You might be right, but I don't get it. Do you mean because the Freedom Tower is meant to be thicker than each of the two towers? Not much, I think.
I like both reconstruction suggestions, but it seems that the freedom tower is pretty much decided by now. What I dislike a bit about it is the waste of space at the top.
look, if a missle or even a aircraft hit the freedom tower, there wont be derbis flying around like the twin towers, and yes, very small pieces of glass falling down, not derbis set on fire flying everywhere, thats waht im trying to say
God will hold us strong but as we know we must be prepared for something like this to happen again..onlyworse.........But America will hold strong.........
I ask God only for one thing why wasn't I born in New York..with the same parents of course.......nice music to go along with it...Armageddon....I love this City....Truly.....The best time of my life was when I went up the Empire State Building...
I agree. If you get another chance to visit New York, I recommend "Top of the Rock", the top of the GE Building of rockefeller Center. I was there recently, and the view was maybe even better than from ESB, and it was cheaper. And the line was shorter.
As a New York born citizen..I give much respect to the person who put this video together.September 11,2001, I was 10 yrs old in my 5th grade class where I heard the infamous tragedy. ='''(
The new WTC is a total crap.. I mean, c'mon! New Your has its own stile and it really doesn't need to copy those ugly buildings of Honkong.. my opinion: REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS! If NY won't get the Twin Towers back.. then the terrorist have truly won.
I love this video my uncle was in an office building right next to it. luckily he got out ok, but i feel so awful for those who lost their lives. Thank u so much for this wonderful Tribute THDubya.
ThDubya, I am quite honored as an American that you put together a really well thought out tribute that is so representative of how most Americans feel about 911.
I have the right to be 'nationalistic' even if I don't agree with our current administration's policies. Not all American voices are represented by their leaders ideals. Americans do have the opportunity to change that situation and we certainly showed how it's done during this past Presidential election.
Think about it. If you really mean that Americans has nothing at all to be proud of, then you lack knowledge of history.
I can accept that some might not like the politics of the current administration, but the US has always been and will be for many years to come a pioneers with most personal liberties, rights and equality.
Even recently, the US was the first western nation to elect a black person as their leader.
We Norwegians have much to be proud of, but not as much as the Americans
I am very proud that a Norwegian made this video. For one, I am Norwegian myself, and secondly, people need to realize that America doesn't stand alone, never has and never will. America stand for freedom and liberty, and people all over the world, who have given it any thought, know this.
Henrik, you should go back to watching MTV and eating your McDonalds burger before it gets cold. I guess you haven't really figured out why you are able to enjoy the things that you do.

True. Americans is so nationalistic, even with no reason.
As a norseman, I have every reason to be nationalistic.

HenrikDarkHand, by the way, I don't consider Americans to be nationalistic but rather patriotic. Don't confuse the two.
I am a Norwegian-American and proud of my country as well as being proud of having Norwegian ancestory.
We can do that here!
