Love (or territoriality?) is a wonderful thing. I associate loons with solitude, as in some of the other videos, but I think the music is a hilarious addition!
@yetish22 Ya but then there's 1000 places saying that opinion of yours, is a rumour that people started ages ago, as they didn't think hummingbirds could migrate, and yes, they can.
@cidshroom So why do you have to resort to offensive language? This seemed like a forum of civil discussion until your last comment. Are you one of those people who feels like he always has to be right or some pseudo-lawyer? I saw a film, good quality. I related what I saw, never said hummingbirds couldn't migrate. Believe what you like, and lighten up.
@cidshroom I'm not propagating lies. I was participating in a discussion. You ask how your latest comment sounds, I say childish and predictable. I was expecting it. This is not a trial nor a scientific publication, it was a pleasant discussion. You seem so bitter!
@cidshroom Sounds like a frustrated ignoramus. I didn't pick any fight. You stooped to offensive language, so take a look at yourself. Who said anything about geese? Just because something doesn't exist on the web doesn't mean it's not true and just because something else exists on the web doesn't mean it is true. I saw a wildlife documentary a few years ago and they filmed a hummingbird landing on the back of a loon in flight and snuggling in, very clear. Never heard of such a thing before.

They're fast! I wonder if they are fighting or if this is courtship behavior. Birds are weird.

LAME. i want to hear them calling

Not only do they fly great distances, but they are often used by humming birds, who hitch a lift on the back of a loon during migration.
I once watched a loon on its back it the water with its feet up in the air, occasionally splashing furiously. It eventually flew off.
yetish22 3 years ago
@yetish22 Loons can fly great distances, but so can hummingbirds, they do NOT hitch a ride.
cidshroom 1 year ago
@cidshroom Sorry, but I have seen film of hummingbirds landing on a loon in flight.

So produce the film, or stfu.

@yetish22 So no film? And criticizing me for your lack of proof.
How's this sound, go find some evidence, or stop propagating lies.

@yetish22 Go FU CK yourself, how does that sound?
All I want is you to show a shred of evidence, or go "huh I didn't know they can migrate"
Instead you're picking a fight. Incapable of debate or discussion, I think you are.
Go put "hummingbirds geese" into google, top 3 links all say your opinion is bullshit.
Debate over, you lose, crazy old fag.

@yetish22 Sounds like a crazy old man who has lost the ability to learn.
I have produced proof against your "theory" and yet you have produced no counter proof, other than "one time I saw".
Yes well one time I saw a tree morph into a wolf, I was on shrooms at the time, but that's not important, I SAW IT!
Also a nature documentary once faked lemmings killing themselves, very clear.
Last word was still had the post before, there would be links, but youtube doesn't allow it.

@cidshroom I invite you to have the last word, no doubt you will want it.
