  • @slizzee1 I wish I had those sexy dark, naturally smoky eyes. Mine are the kind that don't go well with extremely fair, translucent skin. It will be the first feature to age me.

Thank you, Wayne, for another great video. I'm learning so much from you. I appreciate a YT MUA who isn't about popularity contests and is committed to teaching his audience. Just beautiful, generous and brilliant, you are!

  • I just found you last Thursday, and I now have puffy eyes and dark circles from pulling a 5-day Gossathon. Good thing you posted this vid. HA! Seriously though, every second wast totally worth it. I know it's "just makeup", but feeling bad about yourself because of the way you look is a really terrible thing for any woman. You've done quite a lot of good with these videos, love. ;)

  • All the concealers over all the years never solved my issue because it's hollows not darkness - in fact concealers made it look worse! Thank you!!! Now to order the salmon corrector and some of the mercier powder.

    Thank you again!

  • I've got dark circles under the eyes and my concealer and foundation don't even cover it. the darkness prevailsssssss. what should I do?

  • I like how you explain and then demonstrate afterwards, you've helped me tons! Thanks!

  • Yes! I have a sort of hollow under eye with darkness, and you are the first video/site I've found that addresses this for me! Thank you so much

  • Are u part of the illuminati? I see you doin the devil singhs from 1.31. : S

  • All the correctors I've seen are creamy. Can you use a them under a mineral powder foundation?

  • You look better now, think with a lil bit of meat on you xD

  • You are a life saver!!

  • What would I do without your channel!!!!??!!!!

  • You look like David Beckham :)

  • Brighten, not lighten.....got it! :0)

  • I watch make up videos for HOURS on end and you are the very first one to talk about people with dark circles that lay deeper. Thank you!!

  • I might be the only person in the world who thinks this. But I actually.. LIKE my under eye circles. I think they make me look dark and mysterious and sexily sleep-deprived :D

  • @slizzee1 OMG ! I like my eyebags too. It's so ridiculous, I know. ;))

  • @slizzee1 hey! i agree with that too! i only apply very little concealer on my dark eye rings on days i have very little sleep the night before, but i leave some under my eyes. i agree it makes one look mysterious! :D or maybe its just the shape of my eye. no, you're not the only one! ^^

  • @slizzee1 Lol I'm not alone!!! I just don't look right with concealer caked on under my eyes!!

  • Thanks

  • Love this but don't find L Mercier brightening powder to be all that great. Just found Bare Minerals powder "well rested" is perfect for what you describe.

  • You look so different here. But then I looked at the date. We all change I guess. Great tips as usual.

  • you are always great goss!

  • wow! Im 20, a make up addict and i have had dark circles since I was about 8. I have very fair skin meaning my dark circles are always quite noticeable This is this first time I've heard an explanation on how to hid bags and dark circles in a logical way, not just the same old advice of use a peach concealer, which ends up looking unnatural. Thank you for all you'r wonderful videos! :D

  • look at you..oh wow..this is an oldie but goodie..yeayyee!! love u..u r the best!!

  • I have found something which works! Can't believe it as really didn't think a cream could make any difference. It's called manceuticals dark circle eye treatment, been shown to reduce eye bags and dark circles (with a draining and decongesting effect), in 15 days. formulated exclusively for men as men apparently suffer with dark circles and eye bags more then women but us ladies can use it too. I have tried everything in past but this works! Yaaaay good bye concealer !

  • The best thing about your videos is the length... I dont have to yawn half way through. You are quick, smart , to the point and you know what you are talking about. Loved you tips on applying blush... I had been doing it super wrong and was only able to appreciate the diff once i applied it the right way. Keep the videos coming!

  • @princessxpunz i think u have too doubled up the concealer.. Since is red, u can neutralize it with green concealer.. Blend it nicely, n use the second layer of concealer that suit/match with ur skin tone or using foundation to cover it.. Hope tht help :)

  • I LOOOOOOOVE YOOOUUUUUUUUUU

  • I have red undereyes, no-one does any vidoes on how to get rid of that :(

  • I love this video and it has helped me to address a makeup problem Ive been trying to get around FOREVER. I was wondering if you have also done any tutorials on how to conceal/minimize frown lines. I have a vertical frown line at the beginning of my right eyebrow and always look angry, even though Im not, lol.

  • You are awesome... Amazing and very helpful, practical advice. Thank you :)

  • how to fuck i get here?

  • @ISILDUR192 lol!

  • Hello there.

I was wondering if you could help me, please.

I do have very dark areas and little hollows under my eye and in the inner corner and very thin skin. I’ve tried a bunch of products but nothing seems to help.

At the moment I am using a Clinique eye cream, two different concealers (one peach based), a...

  • ...brightener (Touche Eclat) and a little highlighting powder with a little shimmer to set it. I hydrate myself enough and I try to get enough sleep. But well, even then I’ve got dark circles and it gets a little cakey after a while.

Do you perhaps have a product that you could recommend for this problem; I’d really appreciate it a lot.

  • omg this video was uploaded one day after my birthday!

  • I'm not seeing any answers to questions in these comments. Just wondering why? Do you at least make a video once in a while to answer "most asked questions?" Thanks:)

  • What if the bags under the eyes are of genetics?

  • ur so hot! :)

  • Wayne, while this is a temporary "fix" (as is makeup anyway), I'm wondering what your thoughts are on "Instantly Ageless" (?) from agless-skin-today. The vids I see look so dramatic. Again, I realize that "IF" these are "real" that it's a temporary result, but what do YOU think of it? Of this product? Or do you have other recommendations? I see many "instant face lift" products that tighten the skin for 8 hours or so. Knowing that, are any of them worth giving a shot?

  • 1:31 \m/

  • where's ur blog? its no longer there?!

  • thank you! very useful information! you are awesome :)

  • that smile...that wink at the end.. *swooooon*

  • my foundation is "porcelain" there isn't 2 shades lighter!! :(

  • @lmorri13 That's what I was thinking!! :(

  • @lmorri13 maybe you could look for a cream highlight... or even a white/cream/lighter-than-your-skin cream eyeshadow. i'm no expert but i feel like those could work ;)

  • Thank you for the wonderful knowledge! It's refreshing to hear and works wonderfully well. All the best :)

  • LoV Ur ACceNT!! :) & thA TiPZ!

  • youre a genius!! thanksssss

  • I have very hooded eyes and a deep socket... It works for me, and looks fine... But now I can make my eyes look GREAT! you're a life saver! And lol@ what you said... You can't correct it cause it's your SKULL. hahaha. :) thanks!

  • You're a really nice guy but this does seem a bit gay for guys to do

  • love your eyebrows :o)

  • love the accent. :)

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you lovely (:

  • FABULOUS TIPS~

    THANKS WAYNE*

  • awesome videos!

  • 2 shades lighter? I think I'm gonna need white concealer :-/

  • I love your little wink in the end

  • you are a gold mine of useful tips and info.

  • Oh my goodness, thank you. I have a new technique to try.

  • i love love love your channel. I have learned so much

  • You're very much appreciated! :)

  • I've been trying to figure out my eye type FOREVER! Sunken eyes! It gives my eyes a wierdish beauty and yet, makes me look like the walking dead!

No shimmer powder..what's a girl to do? hmmm...atlleast when I want to, I can control the walking dead look sometimes! Thaaannkkkkss!

  • Part2:

Waiiitt! I probably don't have hollow eyes! My bottom eyelids kind of normally covers a good portion of my eye when open. And leaves a crease right where the eye starts to round out to the back. OMG..can I send you a pick so u can help me find out?

  • wayne, about the shimmery powder under the eye for hallows... any product suggestions (drugstore too)?

  • fabulous tips!

  • Saw this video yesterday and tried your tips this morning. It made all the difference! While it wasn't flawless, I know it will be with more practice. Thank you!

  • please write books so that make-up 'advisors' in every store in the world learn them by heart and never ever make us buy useless (and expensive) products!

  • which concealer and foundation products do you recommend?

  • I like how he winks at the end of the video lol

  • You are very knowledgeable and it's good to find a makeup guru that's not all about slapping makeup on the face but knows color theory, the anatomy of the face, history and more! These "so called MUA's" need to get on your level!

  • You are simply the best. To the point and very accurate. I was never able to get rid of under eye bags before this vid. Thanks again.

  • I feel so fortunate to have found you....thank you for all you are doing!

  • studying for my makeup exam... you corrected the things i forgot, THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • Thanks for posting these vids! Wish I had you or someone as knowledgeable as you to go shopping with! I can never figure out what colors to get once I'm in the store.

  • Hi! I am very fair skinned and have darkness on the sides of my nose near the tearduct sort of section. Actually the top hollows of my nose. Can you suggesting a full coverage lasting concealer for this area? so many makeup counter people have told me I am the only one that sees this, but I really want a solution. It is due to my skin sheerness and shows through blueish there. Thanx!

  • THANKYOU!! for adressing people with hollows, no one else has really covered that topic very much SO THANKYOU!!! <3

  • hi wayne, i've been battling very bad brown dark circle, and i have medium skintone.. so what color corrector should i used before applying my concealer? because its get ashy when i use only concealer.. thank u..

to everyone please like this comment so he can see and replied all of us who had the same problem.. i will appreciate it.. thanks again!! ( ^ __ ^ )

  • You are definately a pro!!! I respect you very much... :)

  • you're a pro! thank youuu.....

  • you are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOTT GODDDD

    N REALLY PROFESIONAL BLESS U

  • Thank you for being articulate! Many makeup artists on you tube aren't and it's hard to listen long enough to get any usefu information. It's refreshing that you are well spoken and it makes it much easier to learn what you are teaching. I'm glad I found your videos.

  • @vahsupchloe So strange, many men make-up artists are gay, but he's kinda normal acting and has a ring on his right ring finger, so maybe he's happily married?

  • Well one of his tags says gay... so yes?

  • ik it really doesnt matter but is that a blouse?...

  • @34597able I think it's a polo shirt with a cardigan over it.

  • thank you! i'm sick of my mates saying i look like a crack addict! (i've only done crack once but that dosen't cause them right?!) :L

  • Oh, I do LOVE YOU! Thanks so much! ;-)

  • can you do a tutorial for people with the hollow bone structure? Both me and my mum have that! I want my mum to see this video! i LOVE peach correctors and silica powders to set it! i have the BB and the eve pearl, but i really want the giorgio armani..have u tried it? what is the peach mac pro thing like? xx

  • I love you thanks so much!

  • @Reperkussion u just go on and corfirm the 19..

  • @Reperkussion i think more of a 19..

  • What does your girlfriend think about all of this?

  • @Reperkussion how epicly stupid are you?

  • wow no other make up artish has talked about this and it has really helped me to sort out my under eyes!!

  • Im having some trouble because i have like heavy purple dark tryangles extending from my tearducts to half way to the middle of my eyes but i also wear heavy makeup on my eyes underneth like white eyeliner there and it pulls away the cocealer and i cant seem to get it back again

  • waow!..this guy really knows his stuff..he explains it soooo simply in just a few easy steps 2 remember!..thanks Wayne..

  • gay person

  • White people don't have to worry about dark circles..they aren't there like in Arabs or Indians cases.. those have really fugly dark circles that they never disappear cause its genetic they inherit it.. I do get them if i don't get any sleep at all, but prior to waking up by noon they are completely gone..

  • @EuropeanGuy87 shut up thats racest

  • @EuropeanGuy87 shut up thats racest

  • @EuropeanGuy87 thats not true (and kinda racist) Im white and my dark circles are very bad, I have tried many things and they haven't gotten any better, and Im sure Im not the only one.

  • @ImaniAmbermurmur Really ? sorry to hear about that... do you drink enough water ? if you sleep good and still have them you have to go see a doctor.. You may have kidney problems if they are really bad.. Let me know..

  • @EuropeanGuy87 I do drink lots of water since I live in high altittudes, I think its mostly from lack of sleep and I have a bit of an iron deficiency, I dont think its anything serious. But thanks for letting me know :)

  • Shouldn't the description rather say "How to conceal dark circles, bags and puffy eyes" since you're not really making it disappear.

My eyes are puffy an red like hell 24/7, I don't use makeup and never will because that's just unusual for a man to do in my opinion, just wondering what the causes and treatment for something like that would be.

  • @mohfuu you may have some sort of allergies... i'd try allergy eye drops (can't think of the proper name haha).. they're non-prescription from any chemist or even supermarket, and any time my eyes are red, i pop that in and within 1 minute, they are clear and bright again. if that doesn't work i'd probably just see a doctor about it...

  • thank you! i have a little bit hollowed undereyes so it's a dark area but gurus tend to only talk about bags and circles under them

  • wow......these comments are pretty sad, he actually seems like he's very knowledgeable about what he is talking about, and you guys are the ones that are sitting there watching, and commenting, on the videos. If you dont want to watch a great looking guy, with an awesome accent, apply makeup, FIND ANOTHER VIDEO!

  • Wayne, you're a gem! Thank you!

  • Definitely a wooly woofter

  • @123angelbea You're over 40 and this is what you're doing with your time? Sad.

  • @JRKEMB It's actually what you are doing with your time that is the sad thing....has no one ever told you that a grown man applying make up whilst sporting scruffy facial hair is so not a good look?

  • @123angelbea

Why the hell are you telling me that? I'm not the one making the video. He actually looks great and there's nothing remotely sad about what he or I am doing. YOU on the other hand...hmm, get a life.

  • are you gay? i'm really curious.

  • @vahsupchloe .....so is he!

  • @vahsupchloe who cares?

  • @vahsupchloe a little too curious

  • @vahsupchloe How is that even relevant?

  • @gutaitas dude calm down, i was JUST curious.

  • @vahsupchloe That still doesn't make it relevant.

  • @vahsupchloe I understand you're just curious, but don't you think it's a little rude to ask that? It's not a big deal whether he's gay or not, and I'd say his sexuality is his own business.

  • @righteousgroove That's true, I didn't mean for it to come off rude or anything. I understand it's his own business I just really wanted to know.

  • this is a great idea if it's blacker than night in the room, otherwise I'm afraid we're talking eye surgery.

  • that doesn't make them disappear. covering up a problem doesn't solve it.

  • Thank you so much you are a genious. My problem is now solved I have both a severe blueish cresent forming from my inner crease but also inherited bags forming under my eyes so your tips will help me cover it up. I've been having problems with the method I am using but I now see that it is the fact that I am using the same concealer color for both problems. Thank you so much.

  • hi wayne ..ur so cute are u gay?? marry me....merry xmas jeje

  • thanx..will do

  • ahhh thank you soo much!!! this seriously helped a lot!! :D

  • 90 percent of women beautify themselves so the other 10 percent also have to follow in order to look as good as them.

  • Thankyou-this did answer my questions about whether to put concealer on after my foundations. Lovely.

  • haha an expert lol !!

  • Great information!!!

  • You're a god. Thank you so much for the great advice! =)

  • Hello and thank you for the tutorial! I have a question for you: I am 35+ and have naturally hooded eyes, plus...I have a dark blue/purple color that starts around the tear duct and runs under my eye all the way to the outer eye, as you said. You recommended that I pick a concealer that is two shades lighter than my foundation...but I am extremely fair-complected and cannot find any shade lighter. Do yo have any suggestions?

  • Hot damn! You's a cutie! Thank you for this :)

  • Love all your videos. Thank you so much. You are fabulous.

  • I love your videos... They are very informative and you never talk too fast. I'm 54-yrs-old and not getting any younger, so thank you for all your help!

  • cucumber just works to refresh your eyes, doesnt really help that much. I dont mind this video but dark circles are normal 95% of the time a low level of vitamin c,k and b. you can buy creams for this. dont rub your eyes either. I used vitmin suppliments for 2 weeks and they started to go and almost gone now after 5 weeks. most guys dont wear makeup!

  • that was really helpful!!! love your accent!!!

  • will this help black skin--I have yellow undertones--just clicked on---I do not wear makeup in the summer-it melts under the sun-fall is here--what palette, colors for black skin---will keep watching.

  • is there any method without useing makeup? becuase i would feel weird if i used makeup becuuase im a stright guy that lives with a homophobic family, friends

  • @omgimapure1 did u ever figure it out

  • @xXxXAssassin i heard cucumber for dark circles, acupuncture for puffy eyes, but acupuncture is expensive

  • @omgimapure1 does cucumber actually work did u try it

  • @xXxXAssassin not yet no

  • @xXxXAssassin this just works to refresh your eyes, doesnt really help that much. • i looooooooooove how you talked about the hollows! OMG, I just realized this week what a problem I was having with under my eyes, the chalky looking concealer problem, the fact that my undereyes do dip and it's not working well with the concealer, not to mention that i never much was good at mastering concealer but i like full coverage so foundations helped (o mine has also dried out some b/c that dumb plastic part on the mac container popped out) . again, love your advice! Thee Best!
