What an amazing trailer this was. One thing I never understood is why the egg in the beginning is different from the actual alien eggs.

@Nragemachine The egg might be different because some times when a trailer is released early,they are still developing the film,So im guessing that they decided to use the other egg for the final cut.which does look better than this one,still good trailer though

I remember seeing this trailer back in the day when I was about 10, and somehow my brothers and I convinced mom to let us go see it (this was when you drop your kids off at an R rated flick). An entire large bucket of popcorn went flying into the seats behind us when the chest burster showed up.

Really! I was like 4 then. And some how I convinced my mom to take me to see Aliens!

That trailer was a real WTF for it's time! And a piece of art! Wow! Still a one of a kind Space-Alien flick! Very hard replicate that level of fear even these days. AND that music was all most a DUB-STEP beat! LOL! TOO Amazon! For the blu-ray!

Easily one of scariest movies ever made, as well as one of the last legitimately original horror films. Everything in this movie works perfectly: the sound, the music, the production design. It all comes together to create an atmosphere of unbearable tension & claustrophobia. The fact that no matter what you do you cannot escape your surroundings (unless you want to die) & you're trapped with a creature that will stop at nothing to kill you. Hard to believe it's only Ridley Scott's second movie.

Gotta have a great movie to make a great trailer.Super hero movies will never have great trailers by the very nature of their source material.That being said the trailer for Robocop 2 was pretty awesome and the movie sucked. Basically nobody knows anything. Alien and Bladerunner are art films 2hour film schools, go Ridley!
