  • phenomenal, i had to put echo, and new order, stone roses away for awhile.

  • Fantastic song and yes its their best c.d.

  • Am I the only 1 who thinks this album is their best one?

  • sorry guys gonna have to dissagree ,this is an awesome album but not a patch on some freindly ,that is one of the best albums ever written by anyone

  • I remember a really good live version of this on some channel 4 programme in the 90's. cant remember the programme though.. Damn it.

  • This is an excellent tune, perhaps my favourite off the album, I love the words and the ending with that guitar chiseling away. It's always a cherished few seconds of serenity dancing upon my ears and inner being. Of course playing this loud as fuck doesn't hurt either. Fine tuneage from master craftsmen.

  • wonderful song. builds from quiet to majesty

  • "Why don't we do it again...!"

    Always.

  • great ending to possibly the greatest album ever written...never tire of this album!

  • @modsheff1 Briliant album, but if i may be so bold;- not as good as " Up to our hips". But they're definetely two of the best albums ever.

  • sheer utter brilliance, especially Tim's

sugary vocals on this track. Never get sick of listening to this track. Can't wait to see them in Boston

  • Sick tune. I loved between the 10th and the 11th. Lost it twice now and suspect it will be hard to track down in shops, though i always look.

  • lol, shops?, youve got the effing internet!

  • I just found mine! YES!

  • Nice one.Cheers.

  • thanks!

  • Great song and album. Reminds me of high school and better days.

  • I thought I was the only one who ever appreciated this song. I deeply thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting it and letting others see how great it really is.BRAVO!

  • I dont get it! I have all the Charlatans albums and 'Between the 10th and 11th' is my absolute favourite. None of my mates agree tho.

    A criminally overlooked masterpiece!

  • A criminally overlooked masterpiece!

    could'nt agree more!

  • @rickdanco Agreed... . I'd give you 100 thumbs up if I could. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant album.

  • @markuseb:

They were audibly influenced by Caravan in this period...and were even better.....!

Another influence is Brian Auger + the Trinity.

But "Between 10 + 15th" has its very own originality. Transcendent, magic....i could get up very well with it in the morning + this means something...i´m not a very special morning guy.

  • @rickdanco:

I used to get up in morning with this LP + "Up To Our Hips" in the first half of 90s with this LP (partly, not always...LOL) i´m glad i found the uploads inside "free" YouTube now (our German copyright association bars this all from us, silly assholes.....).

    German greetz !

  • I agree - and the album after that with `Can`t Get Out of Bed` was slated - but those are my favourites.

  • I agree its stood the test of time pretty well. At the time it was absolutely panned by Melody Maker, NME etc. Up to our Hips made people think twice about writing them off...and thats when they hit a real purple patch.

  • NME gave it 8/10, which ain't bad, but most other reviews slagged it off. Up to Our Hips had a very moderate reaction. It was The Charlatans that got them back on track...

  • @jabbso Could not agree more!

  • Excellent! My favourite track from my favourite album, by one of my absolute favourite bands.

  • cool cheers, am goin to start posting more non-albums tracks. seeing them twice in a few weeks
