This guy wrote a lot of songs for the Eagles. I just found him. Love, Love him. What a song writer. He used to date Linda Rondstadt ys ago. This sounds like a Roy Oberison song but I don't know. Roy sang Only the lonely, which is not the same song. I am finding all kinds of nuggets.

@Getrealpeeps I like JD, and I think he has a great voice. I have no idea why they broke up, but I read about him, and they say he is a very hateful guy. Now don't jump on me for saying that, I don't know if it is true or not, but I read it.

There are few live performances by JD Souther as he rather write music than perform. He wrote quite a bit for The Eagles, could have been in that band if he wanted. Also wrote with Jackson Brown, and Linda Ronstadt, whom he was once engaged and I think this song was written for, as well as other Artist.
