  • Do u think that I will buy a buffing wheel to repair a disk!?!?

Not realy..... ill just go to a store and going to repair it.....

    SERIOUSLY!?!?!?

  • this will happen to your thumb if you play with a buffing wheel

  • don't complain cheap bastards...its the best and only way to get it right..lol just down buff to much or the disc will warp..

  • yea we got one at school i could easily do it there

  • what happened to ur thumb

  • @dfm121

    machine remove his thumb

  • I'll have one chalupa

  • do i have to lose my thumb to clean the cd

  • Yeah.. i'll just use the toothpaste.. Wayyy cheaper pops

  • anybody else notice his right thumb is fucked?

  • You obtained CD (Legendary) !

  • O_O ill stick with toothpaste

  • Then I start to wonder how he lost the tip of his thumb.

  • k hold on let me go grab my a "buffing wheel"?/?/??

come on were kid we dont have buffing wheels

  • Wouldn't it be cheaper just to go buy a new one plus less work and gas...

  • @coolmeanyrules I bought a buffer (similar to the one shown) at Harbor Freight for 29.99, with the buffing wheels included. Then I bought the rosin for about 5.00. 35.00 for the ability to fix hundreds of scratched discs. I just repaired about 20+ dvds that my friends daughter scratched up really well.

  • Has nobody here ever used a buffing wheel? It's not going to cut off a finger, it might scratch an itch though!

  • lol

  • My modern warfare 3 CD had a very tiny little scratch and that is enough to get me this disk is unreadable every hour

  • @MarioKartFan2132 same here

  • be careful not to lose the tip of your thumb in the process...!

  • @handyguydesmoines thats just mean :(

  • @tinathezaclover True.

  • @702beastside Hahahahahahahahhahahahahah!!

  • or........you could just use toothpaste

  • @bigbrown4114493 This is better..... more expensive, but better....

  • Omg it's not working :( blaaahhhh my stupid brother broke my tekken I just want to kill him!!!! I just need to get a new one I guess. But heres another solution to you guys get your friends disk and install it to your hard drive for ur Xbox. It's a win win situation.

  • all that just 4 a damn disc 2 work

  • safety glasses? that guy needs steel mesh gloves!

  • HI ROBERT!

  • "You sound like kermit the frog", "I Aint gonna take advice from someone with no thumb", "You can't spell safety glasses". What has the world come to lol

  • starts at 0:50

  • i did this and my disc blew up thanks f*** tard btw how did you losse your thumb did your boyfriend clench his bum hole too tight

  • @truckerlad20 its a joke if your really that brain dead to work it out so shut the fuck up and crawl back into your mums ass you sweaty coon.

  • @truckerlad20 retards shouldn't use tools.

  • This video is take 2. He had his thumb in take 1.

  • you basically wasted money on tools when you could have just boughten a new cd

  • @slaya559 I have bought a setup similar to this for about 35.00 (29.99 for the buffer with buffing wheels included and 5.00 for rosin), I've fixed hundreds of discs this way. How is it a waste when you can fix yours and friends discs? Just last week, I fixed 20+ dvds that my friends daughter had scratched over time.

  • thnx robert

  • "haayy may neym iz raabıırtt" wtf I thought that cd talking..

  • THIS ACTUALLY WORKS. I USED TO DO THIS AT WORK TO OLD DVDS & CDS WE WOULD SELL...

  • Safty glasses.

  • i lost my fanger doing that with out the buffing wheel being thier i lost my middle fanger when i was 9 yrs old

  • @fess1996 Lol that would be hillarious, anyways blockbuster has cd cleaning machines so they can tell them to clean it or just trade for another game...

  • u guys are complete dicks

  • I guess Ill give you thumbs up, cause you're missing one?

  • You sound like kermet the frog

  • How can this video have so many dislikes? I tried this method and fixed about 5 ruined discs.

  • @kargo27 really does it work.

  • @dooooooer I promise you, it does. Plastic is pretty easy to buff out. About 25 years ago, (yes, I'm old) I had a pair of Scott ski goggles that I'd scratched with the edge of my skis as I carried them over my shoulder. I knew that jewelers could buff out crystals on watches (Rolex for example are thick, hard plastic) so I had them try my ski goggles. Voila! Nearly perfect. So, this buffing wheel and paste is basically doing the same thing. It will work on a 4" or 6" grinder.

  • @kargo27 thank you thank you i love u.

  • @dooooooer LOL. No problem, good luck!

  • taking advice from a guy that can't spell safety seems kinda dumb

  • Instead of this

4 Easy Steps to Clean a Scratched Disc (WORKS)

1: Go to Redbox, Blockbuster ect

2: Rent the same game ( the game that is scratched)

3: Once you get home Trade the Disc

  • @tonganboii36 if you do that your a fag because your basic stealing...what you gonna do when you realise some pore family go rent something with the 5 $ or £ or what ever just to find out it doesn't work....eh?

Your just a prick, go die.

  • @tonganboii36 LOL! That's ingenious but unfortunately kind of dishonest.

  • A little extreme don't you guys think :)

    LMAO

  • @PE12CISE One would think! But honestly, it's fast. So much faster than a Dr RX or whatever that scratched disc thing is called. We have one and it takes about 10-20 runs to fix a badly scratched disc and you're looking at an hour's worth of work. This method above takes about 2-3 minutes. It's just a soft cloth buffing wheel, made of cotton. It's best to wipe down/wash off the disc with soapy water/windex after because you don't want any residue ending up in your console.

  • i think ill just get a new cd lol

  • Thumbs down for console gaming

  • Thumbs up for ps3

  • Thumbs down for Shitbox360 and Shitbox 360 Live

  • yes, this should work, but only IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS, that grinder can be expensive!

  • @Zordid0 Very true! If you have none of these tools, you're looking at $60-$75 initial investment at least.

  • HEY GUESS WHAT!!! ROBERT MADE A VID TO HELP PEOPLE AND YOU GUYS SHIT ALL OVER HIM , YOU THINK HES A DORK?? WELL YOUR THE DORKS , hes cooler than you cause he likes the trailer park boys !!!

  • That little grinder isn't no heavy duty tool, I can appreciate the safety precautions, even though I've never followed them, I found if you use your brain and be careful you more than likely won't be hurt. Back when I was in school in shop we had bandsaw's, jigsaw's shop teacher just had you wear eye protection and be careful, of course everyone kept an eye on each other.

  • @ndaguanno Very true. I think he's probably showing the eye and ear protection to cover his booty so he doesn't get sued by some freak. I can't blame him, gotta cover your bases these days.

  • hey i did this and it worked awsomely my mw3 is brand new :D

  • why would u post this when we dont even have 1 of those?

  • I find that the stone wheel works the best for fixing scratches..

  • @T16Akatsuki Yeah those pansy buffing wheels are too slow at removing scratches! I want them gone NOW!

  • Thumbs up if you saw that he hasn't got the thumb at 1:30!!!!!!!!

  • this method is very effective, and it's not expensive at all. I used drill and polishing disk made of felt and polishing paste. I've spent maybe 4 euro, and saved an Xbox DVD with infamous perfect ringI tried to restore this DVD using toothpaste, or other domestic methods, like sponge for pot polishing.

  • i wonder who will spend that much money just to take off scraches

  • @koolforlife100 Well, look at it this way. For the initial investment of the cost of one new game, you can fix hundreds of games that you normally would have to throw away or pay someone else to fix. But I think this video is directed to the handyman who already has the tools or for those who have the means to buy the equipment, not for a 11 year old kid.

  • Taking power tool advice from a thumbless guy is like taking target practice from a one eyed instructor.

  • hey u guys just get 3 bucks and go to game stop and ask for refursafing

  • HIIIIII! MY NAMES ROBERT!

  • If you don't want to buy the machinerie just go to the shoerepair. Ask him to do it and give him some money. He has the skills to work with those tools. Good luck.

  • And how much would all this stuff cost?

  • it kills the CD compeletly wipes every thing off cant play it no more.this video is BULLSHIT

  • @scummkiller That's totally false. How can you back up your comment? He's not using a stone wheel, he's using a cotton polishing wheel. I personally fixed 5 of my son's game discs that were horribly scratched and unplayable. You don't polish all the way to the CD media substrate, you're staying within the plastic. If you tried this and polished all the way to the metal substrate then it's your fault for not knowing what you're doing.

  • @kargo27 You are correct sir, @scummkiller You are totally wrong, i've fixed hundreds of discs using this same basic method.

  • All this to remove a scratch from a cd? wouldn't it be cheaper to actually buy the game or w.e again, im looking for videos like this so i dont have to go down to a game shop and have it fixed for £3 let alone going to spend 200 sodding quid to fix a game.

  • @DesignDubstep lol sodding quid? is that fucking dollars in american english?

  • sounds like bert LMFAOOO

  • I'm sorry, but did you say "bitch grinder?"

  • Ok everyone shut the fuck up and stop dejecting this guys advice with rude comments just because you can't handle a small deformity.

  • Fuck u

  • Does this work for perfect circle scratches from the xbox falling on is side?

  • What you don't know is that he lost his thumb defending you're country in Iraq.. let's all make fun of our troops shall we? lets find someone who lost his legs and make fun of him.. I'm sure that would be a lot of fun!

  • @RuXTaR

    Sounds fun!!!

  • kermit the frog?

  • @skullbat10 ROBERT..... the frog

  • overkill...

  • I'm not gonna take advice from a guy who is missing a thumb

  • @702beastside dick

  • kill me? guess you need to thumbs for that huh? anyways "two thumbs up" bitch :D

  • I didn't know caboose had his own channel AND half a thumb!

  • how did you lost half of your right thumb

  • my name is also robert! :D

  • MMMmm you know what else you have taught us with this process?? This would be perfect for headlight lenses also. I think this would work better than a drill. Thanks!!

  • This guy sounds like the guy from Pwned.nl hahaha

  • If your nofe if miffing af your thumb if????

Maby you have a nafal problem with fnot all over? You found fo filly :-)

  • he lost a thumb thumbs up if u agree with me

  • Or... you could just buy a new CD..?

  • @KSwizzletastic not if its a game like resident evil 3. that shit is almost impossible to find, and cheapest i could find it was 300 dollars

  • @TheM411 lol I have it but I guess you wouldn't come over to Brazil

  • @xdddre Brazil... I don't like Brazil. Impostos muito altos, limitando alguns brasileiros de possuir alguns bens materiais. Como o G27 que lá fora custa R$427 aqui custa R$1.200. LOL

  • @KSwizzletastic

or Mpa or Riaa could buy me one. No they wont.

  • Did you guys see his thumb? The one closer to the camera? It has no finger nail... XC

  • its cheaper to just by a new cd you fuck

  • @HowToDoTutorials100

shutup and never post again or i will kill you.

  • @Ibringthetruth1 Are you being a little shit again ;-)

  • @HowToDoTutorials100 Dumbass, it's cheaper to buy a 60.00 game than buy 35.00 in equipment (30.00 for buffer, 5.00 for rosin)? Do the math, plus this will fix LOADS of discs.

  • HOW TO REMOVE CD SCRATCHES First you will need:

    - The universe

  • Thumbs up for no thumb xD

  • new product that heats the discs to repair them. it's on youtube. forgot name. search for it. $200 bucks though

  • Show the before and after cd

  • where can i buy that polishing things?

  • @puneeth2199

hardware store. ask jewelry rouge or plastic polish rouge. ace the place.

  • @puneeth2199 Anywhere like Sears, Loe's...any store with hardware / tools. You can use a electric or battery drill, not as fast as neumatic tool. You may even be able to find a disc /sand disk bit without the sanding rubber section. The bad thing is you have no idea what grit these pads were or I missed it. The whole idea is to rub deep enough into the layer over the data. It must be thick to scruff it down with any pad if the CD did work afterwards.

  • where can i buy that buffing wheel?

  • ok guys leve him alone. hes just trying to help YOU for some guy that most of u ppl dont even know to go out of his way to help u all! u ppl are mean rude basterds who can go to hell for all i fucking care. thanks robert this helped alot.
