I've been searching for something like this for a long time. I have a Macbook Pro and have gotten very used to the Trackpad. I love the Apple Magic TrackPad but hate that it uses batteries.. I use an Apple Wired (Compact) Keyboard and needed something that was USB powered as well. The Ergo TouchPad is THE ANSWER! It's small, super ergonomic, does the job well and stylish. I will never go back to conventional mice EVER AGAIN!
I have a broken touch pad on my laptop so im thinking of using this and just sticking it on top of the laptop one, its quite thin and also i could then also sit back and use on table of some flat surface instead of having to reach the touchpad. Have you seen the prices for fixing any laptop repaired? its highway robbery. This looks the cheaper option. It is a bit too expensive though i think, i will check out China etc first.
Fits right on your keyboard making you unable to use up to 4 F-keys at ONCE!!! thats right 4 keys AT THE SAME TIME, totally useless oh yes. get the new incredible pad NOW!!!
I disagree with jjjmail, and numerous others here. This is a GREAT PRODUCT... with POOR ADVERTISING! The simplicity and small size of these things is great! I have one for every computer I have. They're durable, and recognized as swiftly as smoothly as any USB mouse. I keep both a mouse and one of these touchpads on my desk, and distribute tasks to avoid repetitive stress injury. Scrolling using the right edge of the pad really saves a lot on the repetitive motion of using a scroll wheel!
This is FAR too small to be useful. But they do have an extra large one which is good. Or tyr their competitor, Cirque, (again only the large pads are usefull)
@jjjmail not really,if you have problems with rsi and you want a more comfortable one then this smaller on e is better, with a biger one you have to move your finger, hand more
also that competitor really does not make good products
i just type one hand for most things and still use all fingers so that i have one hand on the mouse and the other typing but for longer typing i use 2 hands
Yes, it's for real. I bought one recently and works flawlessly with no need for drivers in Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux (I haven't tried it in MacOS, but it should work there, too). The internal components are small enough to fit under the pad.

gayest advert ever.. good idea but how cheesy can you get.
leekucia 3 years ago
Why do people feel the need to constantly be using the word "gay" as an insult? That's stupid.
About the advert, it's a bit cheesy but I've seen much worse. The product is good, anyway.

is this for real?? how does the computer automatically recognize it? I doubt it uses the same auto-installed drivers a mouse uses.
and how come its so thin? theres gotta be some place for the hundreds of internal components to be placed.
