How to wash air filter correctly

You should not use your bare hands with the air filter oil. It not all that healthy. Use a plastic bag to distribute the oil into the filter and use a paper cloth to squeeze out the excess oil in the filter.

but why dont you make your air filter stable with tyribs? a guy from the shop said to me i had to do that

well never heard anything about that :) the oil is just to stop fine dust particles entering the carb
