You need 2 1.25 litre bottles cut out the bottom of both bottles, silicone them together like so both cap ends are on opposite sides then put fins on the bottom remove bottom cap and, LOL some how make a stand that puts water and air into it but the bottle WILL work

@wolfteam999 get 2 1.25 litre bottles and the both bottoms u put a hole in the middle about thumb round? bit bigger on both bottle bottoms and put the star shape together and put silicone on the zigzags around the 2 bottles and use your finger to make it look smooth and push it in then get any kind of tape and tape both bottles together and let it dry for a day XD for fins use silicone aswell get something to hold the fins in position!

use fire and ice and make a bomb instead but put it in a steel or aluminum tube (aluminum not recommended, but use a strong but light metal.) and seal one end that light that. run like hell and use a twenty minute fuse for saftey and go into a field or better yet a bomb range. that is all for saftey but if you want to go to jail do it in your back yard.

the bottle should be able to hold around 200 psi or pressure if you have it sealed correctly. i think 40% water content is optimum

@thearaban yeah ive tried pumping one up manualy to 159 psi or around 11 bars that was however one of the thicker bottles. so if this can hold 200 psi then how much can one of the thicker ones hold?

(and yes it was a pain pumping it to 11 bar)

If this guy would have put 1 teaspoon of dish soap of a foaming agent in his bottle....it would have shot for 5 more seconds and gone STRAIGHT up in the air.

the first stgae would fire quickly but making the 6 foot tall rocket move up slowly. Then the second stage would fire about 10 seconds and then the 3rd stage would push the, now very light, rocket about 500 feet on its own. We used 10 types of propellent: water and some sort of soap and then we would experiment with different fuel for the 2nd and 3rd stages.....really cool and tons of FUN. I wanna see some better rockets and better designs from you people!!!!!

While in the Military me and three very very inventive guys mad 1, 2, and 3 stage 2 liter bottle rockets. With a full launch system. Our three stage rockets fires for over 20 seconds and fly as high as the planes that were landing on our base! No kidding! we had the tools the parts and the launching capabilities.....2 and 3 thousand feet. But we used light plastic cylinders with a fin system and a lightweight nose cone. The main ingredient (fuel) was 1 1/2 liter of H2O and 1 cup of dish soap.
