  • My momma taught me a simple lesson. If you go into a store and machine gun a bunch of babies, you need to own up to it, and continue to machine gun babies until the initial problem is fixed. For honour!

  • RON PAUL=)

  • RON PAUL = JOHN F. KENNEDY : )

    MIKE HUCKABEE = JIMMY CARTER : (

  • @MissAsha69 a great analogy!

  • Ron Paul is a joke. Sorry. Trump is right...he will never get elected.

  • Mike Huckabee is more of a sellout poet than a presidential candidate

  • I didn't know I broke Iraq...sorry everyone!

  • Sorry, mispelled..."your".

  • Sounds like he's simply making the point that if you wrong someone your're debt to them is to correct that wrong as best your able to.

  • @formeyousee He saying when you wrong someone by putting your nose where it doesnt belong you have keep it there until you achieve a desirable outcome. Its called saving face.

  • Notice how Mike Huckabee had to Sell you a story to hook peoples emotions? Ron Paul just went straight to the hard facts and a dead straight solution. Only salesmen 'Sell' you a story, that's how they earn their living. And guess what happens when a salesman goes and works for the opposition he recently denounced...? Thats right he now backs the opposite side as if they are the best! And just because they Sell a story doesn't mean you have to buy it from them.

  • Lovely story about Mom and the store (sarcasim) now, can we afford to fix Iraq? How many billions have we already borrowed from China? Who's gonna pay for it? The war fairy? Each family owes approx. $30,000. With our economy, can we afford it?

  • What an ignorant and superficial comment. What kind of president would you prefer, a model/cage fighter? You are quick to label Ron Paul as a troll, with no regard to his integrity or intelligence, and as quick to label Huckabee a pussy. Maybe you would like some one with a temper and a trigger finger....someone like say....John McCain?

  • damn get off his nuts...ron paul sticks to his guns tho and i like that...but you kno what you kno damn well hes not gonna win and yes he looks like a troll..fuck his lame ass domestic policies...only his foreign policies are koo

  • Huckabee is weak; reminds me o Jimmy Carter: Carter was a Baptist, from the south, soft w/ criminals etc. I want to hear more from Hunter and Ron Paul. If Huckabee can pull ahead so can they. The press needs to STOP lying w/ "RON PAUL WILL MAKE IT; If huckil-dingle -berry Goomer Pile can do it Ron Paul can definitely do it. If you repeat a lie enough people will believe it. HUNTER is tough name, like Reagan.

Ron Paul is amazingly consistent check out some of his videos on youtube.

  • the south is weak, brainwahshed, and stupid

i thought that that was just a sterotype

but when i moved to georgia from washington

    it was clearly true

  • Ron Paul

-does not ask for a round of applause

-will not develop weapons of mass destruction

-is opposed to taxing the tips of waiters, waitresses, and service-sector employees

-is not endorsed by recently televangelical, god-fearing family-man chuck norris

-is working hard to put food on your family

  • Ha ha! Working hard to put food on your family! I remember idiot Bush saying that! When did America take that stupid pill? Where's the outrage over where our country has gone and is going?

  • ron paul needs to understand that if we just pull out of iraq and do not try to find a diplomatic answer, then we will just have the same thing we did 40 years ago with vietnam.

  • Huckabee is another Bush. Thank you, Ron Paul for being there to challenge his crap.

  • HONOR? WHAT THE HELL DOES HONOR HAVE TO DO WITH THIS?.

Why are these stupid small minded people clapping at the word honor? This is not about honor, This is about ending our soldier's death toll and about "fixing" our country before we "fix" other's.

  • Da1NOnly - Remember the soldiers in Irak voluntered to be there. They went for the sake of their honor, their parents' honor and ultimately, their country's honor. That includes YOUR honor, too. Please remember that the soldiers are expressing their love of country and if you do not share that, well, that is what democracy is all about : coexistence of differences of opinion. And that is a good thing. Let them serve with pride and let us show our gratitude, for the sake of our children.

  • Daniel, how can you fix this country now when it could not be fixed a hundred years ago ? There are some things which can be improved, like health care and poverty, but are impossible to fix forever. There are many motives for trying to defeat the West, none of them logical. They wrap themselves in a blanket of religious identity when in reality their sponsors are making as much money on this as our "military- industrial complex", whithout which, BTW, we would have to throw burritoes at them !

  • Jone, We need to do what we can. We need to pay attention. We need to correct the mistakes as we find them. We need to get rid of bad legislators and bad legislation. We must start by finding the cure for apathy.

  • You have no honor when you start illegal wars of aggression to continue highlights that. The polls indicate that a majority of US citizens no longer support the war, to continue is belligerence towards their wishes and should be unacceptable in a republic. It will only weaken and divide the US with enormous financial and social cost that will criple future generations ability to thrive. How long since Vietnam and how tender is that wound still. Pull the troops be a great nation again.

  • therealtwist - do not compare Irak with Vietnam. There are only very few parallels. The only parallel is the fact that some media and some dissenters want us to withdraw, tails between our legs.

Only a coutry that wants to be devided can be devided. So, please, don't work on that. Can you imagine what a unifying effect a victory in Irak would have ? Work on that !

  • Ron Paul does not know the meaning of "neoconservatives."

  • Theocratic arguments are only espoused by those who lack the use of critical reasoning.

  • Let us send a strong message to everyone that is paying attention. WE WANT THIS WAR OVER. Let's end this war! All we are doing is creating more enemies, inciting the terrorists even further, losing American lives, and bankrupting our nation along the way.

Out of all the Republicans and all the Democrats, there is only one person clearly stating the moral and right thing to do: End this war and bring our troops home. That person, is Ron Paul.

    You speak truth here.

  • jammer, the latest polols don't agree with you. Also, the Dems have been giving money to the President without any strings attached. So, that is the latest.

  • Seems to me that Ron Paul is the only ADULT person here. period.

  • Period? oh yes, lets run away from things that are getting hard to handle - Is this how you define ADULT? Question mark?

  • Adult would be not sending our armed forces into foreign lands to perform combat school painting missions.

The U.S. military exists to destroy nations, not to build them. Bush and the neocons think the miltary is a prop to use for photo ops, and war an opportunity to make big bucks on no-bid contracts.

"We can achieve much more in peace than we could ever achieve in these needless, unconstitutional, undeclared wars." Ron Paul

  • Sean, Imagine the US had your opinion as policy during the First and Second World Wars. Where would you be now ? Governed by the Nazis ? The Japanese or a coalition of the two ? This world does not have rigid borders. Everyone can get anywhere they please and do us any harm they can dream of. That is what we have to prevent. We have to keep them over there and that often requires use of force. Ron Paul would leave us wiiiiiiide open to even the dumbest terrorists.

  • WW2 Japanese were locked in camps. Do you believe we should lock up anyone who is Muslim or looks middle eastern in camps? Also why do these other people attack us? USA put Sadam inton power. I mean really would you expect a snake to attack you if you don't bother it? Why would a country attack the USA if we dont bother them. THe reason we were attacked is because we were messing with a snake.

  • comeonfolks, there a lot of faulty premisses in your post. NOBODY advocates putting everyone in jail who looks Middle Eastern. It was not a country that attacked us but a group of fanatical people. And yes, some snakes attack even if you don't bother it. We did not bother Ben Laden or his other snakes. Try looking for some guilt outside your own country.

  • comeonfolks, what you said might make sense to you but if you look more closely, you will see that it was not a country that atacked us and that we have good relations with the countries in the Middle East.

There is a great danger in what Paul says : if we do something and the press and some people call it wrong, we "correct the mistake ?" That makes us both unpredictable and ridiculous. Nobody will take us seriously anymore.

  • HECK THE TERRORISTS WERE WRONG! But why is AMerica NEVER wrong? I Mean really jone, what snakes attack without being bothered? Are founding fathers warned us not to get involved with forein affairs. WHat did we do? GET INVOLVED WITH FOREIN AFFAIRS!!!!

  • comeonfolks - when the founding fathers were directing our policy, there were no airplanes, no cell phones, no general education and mass communication to mislead people. It was right then not to get involved. Times have changed and yes, some terrorists just love violence and death and destruction. You can of course crawl into your henhouse and wait until it is over or you can try to stop them before it is over.

The majority opt for the latter solution as Huckebees rise in the polls shows.

  • I agree with you hannah, we should 100% stay in Iraq and spend the money that the United States does not have. YOU GO GIRL!

  • We broke Iraq so we have to buy it? haha

  • Truth hurts, but it's time for the neo-cons to swallow their pride and pull out.

  • "The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them."

~ Albert Einstein (also paraphrased by Ron Paul) - Who would YOU believe better to solve the Iraq problem? Albert Einstein & Ron Paul's method of thinking, or George Bush & his administration. Answer = not those who created the problem.

  • As Colbert said, intellectually its all for Ron Paul in this instance. Emotionally - Huckabee takes the win. - Why? He simply defines his position as honorable first. Simple as that. Then it goes down to repetition; honor, blah - blah, honor. Vote with your head = Ron Paul, vote with your small dic = Huckabee

  • "Huckabee was saying not to question things, just go along." Exaclty how is admitting "we broke it" not questioning things? It is funny you say Huckabee emotionally takes the win - I read it differently. RP says to take responsibilty for our actions by fixing the problem is saving face. I disagree, rather, RP is trying to get rid of the responsibility of the US by pulling out, for the sake of the Republican party and not caring about the country.

  • His premise was, 'we broke it' so lets STAY & fix it! So we don't lose our Honour! Right? The problem with this is, Huckabee - wants to keep soldiers in harms way, for no damn 'good' reason. There IS HONOR in fighting for a JUST cause, even to the DEATH. However, Iraq is an illegitmate, ILLEGAL war - it is fken bullshit. There is no point stayin, its already civil war, ain't shitall the US can do about it.

  • Conza - that is your opinion. Do you know all the facts ? These soldiers are VOLUNTEERS. The KNOW that there is a WAR GOING ON. They still VOLUNTEERED. It's the Sherriff's son, the teacher's daughter, the pharmacist's son.

They see what you do not see because you do not see the whole picture. Keyword : schoolyard bully.

  • they volunteered to join the army because they have been brain washed by the media into thinking that sacrificing your life to serve a government ran by big cooperations is "honorable".

Honor is made up by the ruling class, only slaves believe in "honor".

It's just like Paul says, people are dying in Iraq everyday so the Bush administration can save face. You're not actually delusional enough to think Washington gives a damn about Iraqi people do you?

  • noventar - Ron Paul is soooo yesterday ! And you are wrong, disffernt from you, there are people who are free people who believe in this country's honor. They do not run when the going gets tough. And yes, I believe a great majority of Americans care about Iraqis.

  • Well dang, I guess our forefathers were crazy jonedelleman, How did they even start this country. Your arguement is stupid. Do you believe in jesus? do you practice what the bible says? IF 2000 years ago is not sooooo yesterday, how is 230 years soooo yesterday?

  • I mean Ron Paul as a candidate is "so yesterday."

  • noventar. First off, Ron Pau is a demagogue.

Secondly, you probably do not know any army voluteers or you would not say what you are saying. In many families, it is a holy tradition to answer when your country calls. Right or wrong - my country. That is what makes a nation strong.

  • Many of these volunteers wake up to the truth about the military industrial complex after several months to years in Iraq. Anyone that is under the impression that you support our brave soldiers by cheering them on should YouTube "depleted uranium". Our soldiers and their families are just as vulnerable to this crap as the Iraqi civilians. I'm speaking out about it now. I won't wait 20 years for a documentary to expose the hell these men are going through.

  • prytulas, you are one of those people who think that our soldiers are ignorant. They are neither ignorant nor need to be told what to think. Many are from the heartland cherishing their free lifestyles and are ready to defend it. The biggest favor you can do them is to accept their decision and thank them.

  • Our military is a hodge-podge of Americans, some entered with their eyes wide open, some with their eyes wide shut, some completely caught unaware. I thank all of them for their service. I never bring up the dark stuff with any soldier but plenty of them are wanting to share what they've been through with people in the states. I don't think their voices should be ignored, do you? They want us to spread the truth as they know it and I've promised to help when I can.

  • Yes, by all mans. Let the soldiers talk and let the people listen to them. But not only the edited versions !

  • prytulas - again, our soldiers are not stupid. They know the danger involved. After all, it is War !

  • You are mistaken, jone. Ron Paul cannot be a demagogue, because he does not meet the definition. A demagogue uses emotional appeal to make an argument with no facts to support them. Paul uses historical and legal references for all his arguments. It does not matter if these facts are persuasive or not. Just by using facts it is impossible for him to be called one. You want a demagogue? Just look at Giuliani. He uses nothing but emotions to convince people to vote for him.

  • Bladeswift - Ron Paul has been singing his tune since he ran for office the first time. It is good to know one's history - but today, the future is just as important. And there I find Ron Paul sadly lacking. He desperately needs a reality check. For exampkle, I have yet to hear how he would handle the transition time. We will be wide open on all flanks if his policy changes are instituted. O the horror !

  • You are free to disagree and dislike Ron Paul. I strongly encourage everyone to form their own political views about all politicians. The only problem was that you called him a demagogue, which he is not.

Personally, I'm not sure I would want him to be president, either.

  • His point about loosing elections is that people aren't voting for republicans because they don't like what republicans are doing. Huckabee basically says it doesn't matter if American voters don't like what Republicans are doing, they should do it anyways. 70% of Iragis say they feel less safe with American troops there.

  • Of course people should vote anyways, not by party, but by conviction and THAT is what's more important than the republican party. And where does it say that 70% of Iraqis feel less safe? Back your numbers up. CNN said "53 percent (of Iraqis citizens) said they would feel less safe if the U.S.-led coalition left immediately. About half as many -- 28 percent -- said they would feel more safe." Wisdom says we need more than 3 of ten people to feel like their country is safe, don't ya think?

  • An ABC/BBC poll in march said 69% of Iraqis felt the US forces made the country less safe. A more reecent poll conducted for ABC/BBC says: 60% of Iraqis see attacks on US troops as justified; 65%-70% say the surge has made security worse as well as had negative economic and political impacts; 47% want the US troops out immediately up from 35% in feb; another 30% want us to leave as soon as security can be restored.

  • Not to mention countless polls of Americans opposed to whats going on in Iraq. Politicians need to listen to the people not make "honorable" decisions for us. Politicians are to serve the people not ignore them.

  • I agree - Politicians ARE to serve the people's best interests, but you stated "47% want the US troops out immediately up from 35% in feb; another 30% want us to leave as soon as security can be restored." That makes it still less than half of Iraqis wanting an immediate removal. And trust me, we all want to leave as soon as security is restored, but the reality is that right now, it's still not.

  • 69% of Iraqis feel the US presence has made them less secure. So wouldnt the best way to return the security be removing the cause of its demise? Iraq will not be safe as long as Americans forces continue to give jihadist targets to attack. While 47% want us to leave regardless of what happens afterwards, 33% want us to leave now, but are scared of what might happen if we do. Overall that's 80% of the people who really don't want us there. The entire population wants us out eventually.

  • Ooh, I'm so glad you said the key word "eventually". So really, we agree - we need to fix it by staying till the job is finished, which will occur if we STAY and fix it. Then we move out - I love how simple this is :)

  • Not sure how you came to that conclusion. We dont agree except on the fact that 100% of Iraqis want us out of their country. We can "fix" the problem by leaving as the US occupation is the greatest cause of the violence. I am not happy that the money I earned has to be used to fund a war that a very small minority are in favor of. FYI: we have been in Iraq for four years and conditions are only getting worse therefore staying is contributing to the problem not fixing it.

  • Um, I never said I agreed that 100% of Iraqis want us out of there, and that would not be accurate anyways (you said "80% of the people who really don't want us there", not 100%, remember?). Your statement that U.S. presence as the greatest cause of violence in highly debatable,

  • especially if you know much of the problems that occurred under the Hussein regime and the major violence occurring now is actually from the civil war between the Sunni and Shiite Arabs and insurgent attacks not only on U.S. troops but privately run military companies (look it up - it's fascinating).

  • But to get back to Original Arguement, about whether we should or should not leave immediately - we've established that is would be unwise to leave immediately by both polling result and common sense - you don't leave something broken, you fix it. Iraq is still broken, let's agree to fix it. This has been a stimulating conversation.

  • Yeah, let's "fix" it! By golly, why didn't we think of this before?! We've only been in the middle east for decades, but now we know our objective. Let's fix it. We'll be outta there in no time.

  • Fuck Iraq. Pull all our people out and drop 100 megatons on Baghdad as a good-bye present. The whole wretched shithole is not worth one more American life.

  • I wonder how the Iraqis feel about your opinion. A little supremacist in my opinion.

  • Who cares? That is not America, we need to take care of America not other countries. Do you wipe the behind of bullied kids at school? Then why should we wipe the behind of all the countries around the world? In the end it will not matter whether or not the world Likes us, what matters is that America remains free and we have our troops over here safe. Leave the snake alone and it will not bite my friend. If it does, all of our strength is here not everywhere else.

  • But what about me? I feel less safe with American troops in Iraq rather than here at home. I mean troops are all over the world worrying about other country's polls and concerns rather than ours.

  • Yes, hannah. And I want to take it further : RP wants to pull out for the sake of Ron Paul's election, nothing else. Any third grader can tell you that the bullies will jump all over you when the schoolyard monitor leaves. I wish there were more third graders in this country !!! : )

  • Conza, I am not sure what you are trying to say other than prove that you know your biology. From your choice of words, I would say that you are a Paulist. Well, the longer I see the debates, the more I think that a Huckabee/McCain ticket would be my choice.

  • The longer I see the debates, the more it becomes clear - if you don't vote for Ron Paul, you don't have America's best interests at heart. You are NOT a patriot, you are a traitor to what America used to be, you collectively spit in the faces of the founding fathers.. For not following the constitution.

  • Conza, is that what the Ron Paul campaign says ? That anyone who does not vote for him is a traitor ? My, my, doesn't that sound like a Nazi Campaign slogan. Thanks for making that clear. I'll stay miles away from any of his suporters - who knows may be one zealot will want to punish me for not voting for Paul. You guys make me sick !!!

  • You are such a joke. NO, thats not what the campaign says. THERE IS a distinction between the offical campaign & his supporters. I LAUGH at you & the MSM, you can't attack the message, you can't attack Ron Paul - the ONLY thing you got is attacking the supporters, & even then you suck at it. All I'm doing is switching around what the NEOCONS i.e (rest of the front runners) have been saying since the invasion. WAKE UP.

  • Conza, I am sorry. You make very little sense.Don't expect any more answers from me.

  • Hey Gulliani after you get your stupid ass cremeated in the polls don't worry, Mayberry is lookin for a new sheriff, and Huckabee can be your deputy Fife.

  • I can't stand it when he has a hissy-fit instead of debating cooly.

  • So ron Paul never fought a fight for his honor in his life. And you are proud of that ?

  • you don't think being the lone anti-war candidate on a stage in front of a pro-war audience, being grilled for his positions on national tv for every American to see ... you don't think his fight shows honor?

  • No, I don't. He did not vote AGAINST the war. He did not vote FOR it. Not because he was against the war per se but because he objected to the fact that it was not declared. That is a big difference that the media is ignoring now. It is called deception.

  • Ron Paul has a military record (Air Force) unlike most of the other candidates. McCain, of course, served. I think Ron Paul may have actually been the one who captured him as a POW at one point in the 1960s when McCain flip-flopped to the wrong side in Vietnam.

  • kennevents - what on earth are you saying ? That McCain tried to change sides ? Ron aul was a flight surgeon. Why would he go and take someone prisoner ? You statement is truly confusing. What are your sources ?

  • Yep

  • * * * * * * * * * * *URGENT NEWS * * * * * * * * * * *

WE HAVE LESS THAN 4 MONTHS TO GET RON PAUL ON THE TICKET!!! SPREAD THE WORD NOW!

ALL THE STATES ARE CHANGING THEIR DATES EARLIER AND EARLIER TO BETTER THE CORRUPTED CANDIDATES CHANCES!THE PRIMARIES MIGHT BE HELD AS EARLY AS DECEMBER! THE CORRUPTION HAS BEGUN.

WE HAVE LESS THAN 4 MONTHS!

    GOOGLE News: REPUBLICAN PRIMARY

COPY AND PASTE TO FOREWARN OTHERS WE HAVE 4 MONTHS!

  • Mike Huckabee is such an ass! He's trying to gang up on ron paul!!!!

  • Thanks for the appropriate quote, theyugo.

  • OK. We broke Iraq.

Now we have to buy it?

This is not like some $50 Precious Moments figurine that we broke in a store.

    We can't afford it.

    WE'RE BROKE!

  • My new favorite quote. Thank you.

  • Huckabee sounded like complete idiot. The fact that people are cheering for his answer is disturbing but not surprising.

"How fortunate for leaders that men do not think" -Adolf Hitler

  • I just love to watch their faces cringe when Ron hits em with truth...just put it on pause at the very end,for the other clips too, and have a laugh. Even the neocon hawks and their wives in the audience background look troubled

  • Huchabee admits we broke it.

  • We need a REAL president. RON PAUL 2008!

  • Love how that douche huckabum spins neo con rhetoric into the conversation.

  • use a childhood anecdote to back a childish argument. its not about WMD, freedom for iraq, Hussein is in bed with osama bin ladin or they will follow us home. it was always about honor! YAY DOUBLESPEAK YAY HUCKABEE YAY WAR IS PEACE

  • sacrifice men and women of the US for honor? follow the current leadership because we're "one nation under God", don't question the policies? The Germans didn't question Hitler, and look how great that turned out for them.

  • It shows great ignorance to compare Hucklebee or any other elected U.S. Politicians to Hitler. Anyway, Paul is yellow.

  • I'm not comparing any US politician to Hitler. what I'm saying is that if you blindly follow the leader, you might be following the wrong path. people followed Hitler not because he was right and they agreed with him, but because they believed him. there was no decent. Huckabee was saying not to question things, just go along. And that's wrong.

  • Ron Paul was great last night. Vote Ron Paul 08

  • Huckabee talks weird. Ron Paul was totally right, I don't know why people cheered for Huckabee because his answer was just plain stupid.

  • The Neocons never had any honor...they simply don't know the meaning of it.

  • 1. You broke the republican party...you can pay for it by quiting the party.

    2. You broke the intent of the US Constitution...you can pay for it by quiting the party.

    3. You broke Iraq...it has already been paid for by the deaths of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and innocent lives...by the suffering of millions of lives.

  • "if u beak it u buy it" how about "dont touch it at all"

  • the surge is not working. from the AP "Study: US should lower profile in Iraq "

  • screw all these other idiots, Paul FTW last hope for America

  • Huckabee is an idiot lol. Go Get em Ron.

  • and Ron is too intellectual to appeal to the idiots. Rats.

  • Americans are too stupid to elect RON PAUL....sigh :(

  • Agreed! He's the favourite candidate in Europe!

  • I agree and thats sad

  • NO! dont say that!! Americans are too MISINFORMED about what is happening too elect RON PAUL! they are not too stupid, they simply cant or dont want to see truth, not flashy words like 'honor'. Give us all more credit, and spread they word in your family and friends! With all of our work we WILL elect RON PAUL IN 2008!!!
