Rob or anybody, is the JCM 800 2203kk the same as the JCM 800 2203, but with the Kerry King special features added? So that if the KK features are not on, you get the exact same sound as the JCM 800 2203. I know The Monkey Lord said in one of his videos that the JCM 800 2203 was his favorite amp and that to me is a stamp of approval that I highly value.

Of all the axes you play, jp musicman, jems, viger?(never heard of it till now), which axe would you consider 'one of the best shred axes'. Hard to pinpoint 'best' but your top 2 or 3 and without a locking trem? Also, what in your opinion is the best fretboard to shred on? Ebony, Rosewood, Maple, or something else? I have $2500 saved up and I need a total shred machine to compliment my prs. Would like to get your input! Thanks Rob

Yo Mr Chappers . I have recently started holding my pick differently , in a very similar way to your good self and Vinnie Moore . I seem to mute the strings im not playing alot better i.e with the side of the thumb instead of the palm . my picking has become more accurate aswell . However i cant seem to get on with the heavier guage picks i used to use and have gone down to 60mm . What guage pick do you preffer ? PS . Lovin that blues jam u did with Chris George .

How much theory do you know Rob ?

@IPawnNoobs I guess almost all of it... However I use very little in reality, it helps to know modal application & intervalics etc, but it's more important to play what you hear in your head and feel in your heart ;-)

I was just waning to ask you a question, i've been playing in a band for some time now playing solid state amps, and i'm wanting to upgrade into valves, I have £800 to spend on a valve amp, I was just wondering what you would recommend? We play a wide range of music from muse, lady gaga, all american rejects, kasabian, oasis, KOL and more and i'm wanting an amp that can give me alot of different sounds?
